Need to lose 6-8 llbs in weight in 1 week?

Has anyone got any serious (yet safe) suggestions about how I could go about this??

Sorry, but actually it isn't possible to lose that much weight in one week. Anybody who loses more than 2lbs in a week has just lost fluid and muscle.

In order to lose 1lb of fat tissue you must burn off an extra 3,500cals. It also takes 3 days to make or lose 1lb of fat.

Crash diets just slow down your metabolism and encourage your body to store fat. Do it slowly and sensibly, which may not be the answer you're looking for, but is the only way you'll keep weight off permantly without piling it all back on again and more.
