If your goal is to gain muscle, then make sure you eat a meal with healthy carbohydrates (such as whole grain bread with almond butter) before working out!. (I usually eat an hour before so my stomach isn't too full while I'm at the gym)!. Also, eat a high protein meal within an hour of working out so that your muscles can repair themselves!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It's quite true, you should eat a healthy light meal AFTER your workout as your body continues to burn calories for a short time after you exercise!. There should be about a 15 minute buffer zone in my opinion though as the body needs a little time to settle after rigorous exercise!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
if ur gonna do it after then u should wait at least an hour so that ur food can digest!. if before it'll be best to eat after u cool down!. and if ur sweating a lot, for example playing basketball for a long time, don't chug down icy, cold water at once!. let ur body cool itself down!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
