Am i working out at the gym correctly ??!


Question: Am i working out at the gym correctly !?!?
My daily work out routine ( mon-fri ):-

treadmill : 30 minutes , roughly around 3km /day
crunches : 200 /day
push ups : 40 /day

Do you think im doing it right!? im trying to shread some pounds on my thighs , stomach, biceps & triceps!. Is this all enough or should i work out more!? What type of gym equipments should i use to achive my goals!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

You are on the right track but your routine seems a bit unbalanced!. The cardio is good, but you can mix it up by adding the stationary bike or one of those stairclimbers!.!.!.this way you aren't burnt out by the treadmil!. You can also increase the incline of the treadmil to make it more difficult!.!.!.therefore shocking your system!.

You also should include free weight, or use the nautilaus machines for your other body parts!. Lunges, squats are good exercises for the legs/glutes!.!.!.!.and they can be done with just your body weight!. You can add weights when you feel ready to move up to more intensity!. Doing bicep and tricep curls is also great for toning and for building those muscles!. Don't forget about your shoulders, and back!.!.!.!.

You should walk around the gym to get used to what machines work what this way you can plan your workout accordingly!. Also, you can go to www!.exercisetv!.tv and there you can see free workouts that you can follow!.

You are doing 200 crunches and that's good, but until your overall body fat is lowered, you won't see your abs!.!.!. so you can keep up the 200, but it may be overkill and you may be ignoring the other areas of your abs!.!.!.there's more to our abs than the front!.!.!. but, that's your choice! Or you can do the 200, but mix it up!.!.!. that website I mentioned has a lot of exercises you can use for the abs!.!.!.!.this way you have an overall tight look!

I think you should mix it up a little!. Try using the elliptical and the strairmaster as well, those will definitely help you on your thighs!. As for the arms, try working out with the wights at the gym!. I'm focusing on the same areas you are and I find it that it is good to do a lot of cardio, and tone the areas like the arms and thighs with the different weight equipment available at the gym!.

also make sure you are well hydrated and you have enough calories in your body to bun at the gym!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I cannot see anything listed here that will tone those thighs!.!.!.

I would take two 'bodyworks and abs' type classes each week or any class that uses repetition of light (5lbs) weights, lunges and squats!. I would then do half an hour on the treadmill after the class!.

Then take three boot camp classes each week for cardio, plus all the stomach and leg work that's incorporated in boot camps!.

If you don't have access to classes, look at the workouts on
http://www!.shape!.com to get an idea of how to work the muscle groups!.

You can crunch all you like, but if you are not doing them correctly they won't help much, so do find a class (maybe a free trial session at a gym!?!) so someone can teach you how to do sit-ups, how to use weights to work your arm muscles and how to do the endless leg lifts, lunges and squats that really trim your thighs!.
