Answers:
You should wait until your body recovers sufficiently that it doesn't hurt like a *****!

There are a lot of different factors that affect recovery time, so no one can tell you that it will be 1 day or 1 week or whatever!.

First, it sounds like you overdid it in your last session, which is easy to do when you're getting started!. I say this from experience! You generally won't feel the effects of a strength training workout for a day or two!.

So it really really important to start at a low resistance and reps at first, even if you feel like you could do a lot more!.

Second, be sure you get good nutrition!. Your body and muscles need protein to rebuild and repair themselves and carbs and fats to provide the body with the energy to function and do the rebuilding!.

Also look for a calcium/magnesium supplement or drink (sometimes called "CalMax") and that will help tremendously with the sore muscles!.

You should wait until the pain goes away!. I dont know if u know how muscles work but lemme explain!. When you work out, your muscles become sore and that hurts you!. Your muscles actually tore!. Your fatsand proteins get converted to muscle tissue and your muscle gets repaired!. But each time you become sore and each time your muscle gets repaired, you get stronger and stronger!. So ur spose to get sore!. But, if u get so sore that u cant sit on a tiolet, i tihnk u should take it a lil bit easier!. Then u should be fine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If it is your first time after a while it is natural!.!.!. I would take an Advil but just this once and soak in a warm bath!.!.!. and skip a day !.!.!. but not two days and go back to the gym!. If you push yourself a little to exercise even with a little sore muscle (but not real injury) the pain will gradually be less!. Also to reduce injury and pain it is important to stretch before and after work out and to warm up!. Don't make it habit of taking pain killers after work out! But to help you start up something one or two here and there is not such a horrible idea!.!.!. But you need to feel the pain in order not to cause lasting injury!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well it sounds like you just started training so thats normal!. I would 2 days before you work out that body part again!. If you did circuit training the whole body then do cardio the next day the nyour circuit training again!. It gets easier just dont stop cause you are sore!. Good LuckWww@Answer-Health@Com

At least 7 days, some even say 10!. Your muscles have been broken down and will be reparing, based on how much protein you are eating!. If you dont rest them, they will be overworked and will catabolize (use itself for energy) and make the muscle weaker!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
