Question: I feel that I could do with exercising my middle region as it feels stiff and uncomfortable!?
The problem is that I had back surgery 4 years ago and I'm not sure what exercises would be appropriate!. I'm certainly not very supple even though I walk a great deal and garden I feel wooden!. Is anyone willing to advise me as the best form of exercise!.!.swimming well I'll be lucky if our swimming pool even opens these days due to the cut backs in council funding!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would recommend yoga for stretching you out and making you more supple!. It would even build up muscle to help support your back, as long as you take it gently!. I would recommend talking to your doctor before starting anything though!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Yoga, or callanetics exercises should be quite good to do, as they are low impact stretching exercises and you can adapt them if you suffer back problems!.
If you can get hold of a book or DVD by Callan Pickney, these are really helpful in explaining the callanetics exercises step by step, and you can see a difference quite quickly!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
