How do you stop nighttime cravings?

What is it you are craving? If you crave sweets, keep some sugar free pudding on hand, or some of those 100 cal. pak cookies. If its salty crunchy, you crave, keep some single serving 94% fat free popcorn on hand. That way you can satisfy the craving but not take in too many calories. Try and eat more protien at dinner. Also, can you eat dinner a little later? If I eat at 6 pm, I have the munchies by 8. If I eat at 7 or 730 its better for me. Try and cut out the dinner carbs, maybe some chicken or fish, a veggie and some salad. Sometimes when we eat carbs for dinner we get cravings shortly after.
