How can I gain strength without gaining mass?!

Question: How can I gain strength without gaining mass!?
I'd like to exercise more often, but when I do, I tend to gain strength and muscle mass instead of just strength!. What sort of strengthening exercises can I do that won't make me too beefy looking!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
haha!.!.!.thats kinda funny considering ur going to gain some sort of mass!.!.!.!.

well u can lift light weight and do anywhere from 15-20 reps of it!. You wont gain as much mass and it gives you good muscle endurance!.!.!.boxers and wrestlers do the same thing, light weight and lots of reps because they dont want to be bulkey because it slows them down and they need endurance so yea!.!.!.!.

Most women do 5-10 pound bicep curls, real light weight on the pectoral fly machine or some do it free weight with like 10 pounds!.!.!.pretty much my answer is light weight and tons of reps and sets (your arm escentially is light to u, but if you try and hold it straight out in front of you or if you raise it enough times, you will see that its getting harder to do)Www@Answer-Health@Com

well this kind of goes hand in hand!. if you want to gain strength you have to build mass!. if you want to build endurance and maybe alittle bit of strenght you should probably try burn more calories than you take in!. your weight lifting should stay the same, just track what you do and lift and try to improve on that!. your not going to build much more strength but you will become more tone with more endurance!. also you should try more cardioWww@Answer-Health@Com

Try pilates or yoga!. Both involve stretching your body and strengthening your core muscles!. You may become more toned and cut, but you should not gain mass!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You might want to watch what you are eating!. That may be the culprit if you eat a lot of carbs!. However, bodyweight exercises such as pushups, dips, pull ups, and weightless squats are good for gaining strength without adding much mass!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

less weight more reps will tone musclesWww@Answer-Health@Com
