Question: I am 19 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall and weigh 167 pounds!. How much weight do i need to lose!?

Minimize your sodium intake!. Sodium retains water in your body and that makes you gain weight!. Try to do maybe whole body cleansing to get rid of toxins, extra feces in your body!.
Lastly, go to a clinic or a gym and check your body fat to see how much body fat you have:)
For BMI its really not that 100% accurate because you could have a bigger body structure or muscles on your body (muscles weighs more than fat) and it tells you your overweight!. BMI does not distinguish between body fat and muscle mass in your body!. BMI is just a sample guidelines!. The main important is how much body fat you have in your body!.

Yo-yo dieting is of no use when u gain weight due to hormonal problems!.
Go to doctor , some endycrynologist like that and get ur blood check and have proper medicines!.
All u can do till then is have a good, balanced diet with nutritiona and regular exercise!.

well, you are tall so you have that going for you! the taller you are, the leaner you appear because the fat is deposited out more in other areas!. honestly speaking though according to your bmi (which is about 25) you arent that over weight!.
i think if you want to tone up and lose a few pounds that would be great, but you certainly arent obese!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

1)100lbs for the first five feet of your height, addtional 5inches for each additional inch,
2)Body Size(Frame)
Small subtract 0
Med Add 0
Large Add 10
3) Add 100 +(5x8)+10 assuming that ur frame is big=150lbs

If you lose 10 pounds then you will be in your normal BMI!. You can lose the weight easily by doing any type of cardio 3 times a week for 30 min!. Also watching what you eat may help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
