Is it ok to lose weight sensibly while pregnant?!

Question: Is it ok to lose weight sensibly while pregnant!?
lm not planning on being selfish and putting the baby in harms way but l just mean walking on the treadmill on incline with my hand weights!? Also leaving out the take away and junk food (which would be better for the baby anyway) and just eating fresh fruit and vege and lean meat!.And some low fat dairy!. I know my belly is going to get big but that doesnt mean my arms ,legs and butt have to !?!Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's a good idea to stay fit while pregnant!. You WILL have to gain some weight to ensure a healthy baby, but that doesn't mean your arms and legs have to get flabby!. In fact, too many women take pregnancy to mean a food free-for-all, where they eat ice cream/candy/burgers etc, and actually gain too much weight!.

Just check with your ob/gyn with what exercise is okay!. It'll vary with each trimester!.

Don't aim for weight loss, but try toning and staying fit, it'll help the weight come off much easier after the baby!. Good luck :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

I believe it's okay to stay in shape while pregnant, but any attempt to lose any weight will result in short-changing (nutritionally, which at this point for your charge is life and death) your baby!. You have a supreme responsibility, right now you owe everything to someone!. Concern yourself with weight loss when it doesn't affect the health of another!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Light exercise is perfectly fine;
I have heard that it actually improves
stamina when you're in labor!.
The food plan that you plan to take on
can be changed!.
Fruits and vegetables are great,
but make sure that you do get some
carbohydrates in!.
Whole wheat bread or pasta gives you
the carbs needed without impacting your
weight as hard as processed white should!.
In general, foods high in
calcium and iron are an ultimate go-to!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well, i appreciate your eating plan as it will surely minimize yourself from the risk of gaining too much weight!.!.you shoudnt gain beyond an average of 10-12 kg during pregnancy!.!.i did read somewhere that all new mums will lose some weight during their first trimester due to the adjusting levels of hormones and irregular metabolism!.!.but i think you should just go walking daily for 30-45 minutes and eat a daily diet rich in fruits, veggies, raw nuts, grilled fish and lowfat dairy and avoid all junk food and titbits!.!.drink lots of water and lowfat milk!.!.why not try doing Anna Getty`s Pregnancy Yoga!?!?That will help you to minimize weight gain so that you will get back into shape easily after having your baby!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

NO NO & NO! wallking around will help you induce labor naturally but walking on an inclined treadmill with weights with losing weight in mind is harmful for your baby and yourself! get over with your pregnancy first then, lose weight afterwards, ok!?
