Do you think I should eat 3000 calories a day?!


Question: Do you think I should eat 3000 calories a day!?
I'm 5'11 but I'm 135 lbs!.
I'm happy with my body so I just want to maintain!.
I run 6 miles everyday though!. I also lift 3X a week!.
Would 3000 calories be too much for maintenance!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

No i wouldn't say it is!. If you run 6 miles each day, and lift 3 times a week then ya you should eat about that much!. You could actually eat more probably if you wanted!. I workout 6 times a week and eat bout 3000-3200+ and i never really gain weight!. =(Www@Answer-Health@Com

I agree with A W on this!. You can also consult a nutritionist from a hospital or talk to your doctor about his/her recommend caloric intake based on you size, build, and activity!. Remember it's not just the number of calories, but the type of calories you consume!. You need to eat the healthy ones!. Some fast food meals can easily have 3,000 calories for just a burger, fries, and a coke!. FYI!. some hospitals have work out centers attached to them and they give health work ups that include meal planning for free!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

your activity level is very high!.therefore, you could use 3000calories and not gain!.whether a person can have a lot of calories depends on what they do!.if you are doing all this exercise and running, you have nothing to worry about!.you seem to be under weight, according to the recommended weight for your height!.5feet 11 inches is 175 for a normal frame!.if you are large frame,then195 is good!.don't get too small!.you don't want to be anorexic, a serious disorder!.good luck and god bless!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The average adult eats about 2000-2500 calories per day so no !.!. for a person who's so active you burn ALOT of calories a day so it's important to have enough calories or else you'll be tired! so yes! eat 3,000 calories a dayWww@Answer-Health@Com

That is a LOT of calories!. However, at 5'11" and 135lbs, if you are a male, you are very slim!. You could stand to gain about 20lbs!.

I would drop it down to 2000-2200 calories a day!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
