Low Carb/Fat BBQ Ideas??!


Question: Low Carb/Fat BBQ Ideas!?!?
I'm loosing quite a large amount of weight!. I've cut down on all junk food and alcohol and am now dieting sensibly along with daily exercise!.

My husband and I are having a bbq tonight!. We have plenty of salad ideas but we're wondering if anyone has any good lowfat/carb meat recipes for bbqs!.

ok im half english half italian, so have seen two VERY different ideas of a bbq!lol
in italy they only have this one way of doing meat on the bbq!.!.!.!.
mix some olive oil, pinch of salt, lemon juice and mixed herbs!. when you put the meat on the bbq, allow it to slightly colour, then brush the mixture onto the meat using a stick of rosemary!. very, very low fat, but also so simple but best of all!.!.!.!. very tasty!

Why not BBQ fish or King Praws!? Low in fat and carbs and great for the BBQ!. Just put the prawns in a marinade of coriander, chilli, garlic, a little olive oil and som salt so season!. Tastes great!.

Also pretty much any fish rubbed with a mix of rosmary, salt, olive oil, black pepper, parsley, white wine and garlic is yummy on the BBQ!.

Some veg kebabs and sallad with a vinegrette to go with it!. Yum!

Kofta kebabs are good if you fancy meat, get mince and mix it with 1 egg, chopped onions and peppers, a bit of paprika powder, salt, chilli (fresh or powder) and cumin!. mix together and wrap onto a scewer (like a long meatball)!.

Seve with a salad of kidney beans, chick peas, red onion, flat leaf parsley, sun blushed tomatoes, balsamic vinegar, fresh chopped tomatoes and a little bit of olive oil!. Salt and pepper to season!.
