okay, i am trying to recover from an eating disorder!. I'm 5'7" and i was 90, now I'm up to 95!. I still weigh myself every day, and this morning I saw that I was at 96!. I feel like I can see this pound! I feel like I have gotten SO much bigger! I don't understand it, I mean I have to get to 100, but I don't know how I'm going to do that if everytime I look in the mirror i look obese! I know it isn't logical but I don't know how to change my mindset and be able to see my body as it is! help!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I know it's hard to gain weight!.!.!. it doesn't go on like it comes off so it looks a little odd sometimes!. But all you need to do is remember to eat MORE healthy food, and to exercise!. Try gaining muscle mass!.!.!. it will keep you looking toned, and help you gain healthy weight (plus it makes a lot of things in life just a lot easier)!. I hope you've already spoken to a professional about this, I'm sure they would have told you to gain weight by eating more healthy food like whole grains and fruits and veggies, dairy and proteins (best not much from red meats), and not just by eating twinkies or junk food!. Remember that it's good to eat sweets and fats (your body needs fat, survival speaking, to put proteins to good use), and that they are treats!. Honestly, I personally think everyone should be eating the same thing whether they are gaining, losing or maintaining weight: it's just a matter of proportions!. So keep eating more healthy food, enjoy it! And try gaining muscle mass!.

If you haven't spoken to a doctor, I would suggest that!. They can help you make a plan, just the same way they help people trying to lose weight make a plan!. It sounds like you could use a little moral support, so aside from that, maybe reaching out to a friend, parent, teacher, councilor who you can talk to about body image!. Have your mom use you camera to take pictures of you sitting, standing, various poses!.

Now look in a magazine and find someone you think is the right size!. Remember Hollywood goes for 2-4 which means for you to be Haley Berry's size you need to weigh 125!.

right now you are a child's size 10 slim!. I know cause I have been there when I had cancer!.

Stop looking at your self in the mirror, buy some pictures!. I was over 200 and so 82 pounds was attractive to my mind, but not on my body!.

And what adult wants to have to shop in the little girl's section of Walmart!. You can't even wear a Victoria's Secret size 0!.

So, go buy a twenty pound bag of potatoes!. For each pound you gain, get rid of one potato and set aside $5!.00 in a safe place!. Keep yourself busy by lifting the bag of remaining potatoes and noting how much weight it has lost and by looking on line at those sharp clothes your going to buy with the money!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

What is your definition of fat!? 90 for a 5'7" is really skinny!. It's not even attractive anymore!. You need some fat on your bones!. Some fat is okay!.!.!.some nice legs!.!.!.!.a nice little butt!.!.!.fat is okay!. Nobody wants no chicken legged girlfriend!. You just need to stop and think about why it is you have a problem with gaining weight!.

I would personally tell you to try and get up to 120!.!.!.!.work out!.!.!.feel good about the fact that you weigh 120 because it's good, healthy weight that you worked for!. Not nasty greasy food weight!. Because their is a difference!. skinny is not beautiful!. Being overweight isn't great either!. If you can see the pound!.!.!.so what!? you aren't supposed to be skin and bones!.!.you need to have a little sumthin sumthin!. Don't feel bad!.!.don't be ashamed!. U r worrying for nothing

Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day!. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%!. To have more satisfaction out of ur food, Chew each morsel at least 32 times!. This will also activate ur body to generate signals of hunger/fullness!. Obey these signals!.

Nothing other than water in between!.

No special diet, call it by any name or program helps as one cannot adopt them on permanent basis!. Diet pills are chemicals and per se bad and shud be avoided unless the doc considers it necessary looking at ur condition!.

Take light exercises and brisk walks for 30 min!.regularly preferably on empty stomach and twice a day!.

U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time and hassle free!.

Be patient and not in a hurry!.

U cannot choose spots for reduction!.

This schedule can be adopted on permanent basis to lead a healthy life and maintain weight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

What always makes me feel better is to stand next to someone who is heavier than me!. It makes me look soooo much thinner! If you're embarrased to ask someone you know, go to a nearby clothing store and stand behind someone thicker and then look in the mirror!.

This way you compare yourself to real human beings- not your crazy imagination!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I agree with the user "Miss MacKay" - throw away your scale!!! (Or at least just put it away!.) There is no number on that scale that is going to make you skinny or fat!. It's all about how you feel, both physically and mentally!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

gain your weight slowly!. then it won't seem like you even gained that much!. maybe 2 pounds a month and it will slowly start to seem more natural to you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Throw away the scale! And TRY to look at the positive things!. Try not to pay attention to your "fat" but look at your face, and maybe concentrate more on makeup, or what outfit to wear!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
