Question: Do I need to lose any weight!?
I'm a 12 year old girl!. I'm 5'3" tall, and I weigh about 123 pounds!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It depends, you sound very healthy, but if you're very muscular [from sports] you are probably lighter than expected, becuase muscles ways more than fat at any rate!. Like me myself, I wear 92 pounds at barely 5 feet but I'm athletic so I'm still on the lower side of what I should be!. I should be more around 110, but I'm not!.

You are just 12 so you are still growing and you may lose some weight and you may gain more as you grow!. What you are right now is a healthy weight for you becuase you're a lot taller than I am, and remember even if you feel fat, you're not becuase that's what your body is!.

There are some people that are very skinny and that's healthy for them!. While some people have a larger bone structure making them heavier because of their bone density not because they themselves are fat!. So don't worry, and if you do you can also ask your docter about it if you are concerned!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
