Answers:
I'm not a personal gym trainer, but used to do triathlons (usually the cycling & swimming parts) and lift weights, among other exercises!.

If you've got "flab", that means either fat, or loose, un-toned muscle or a combination of both!. To resolve this, you COULD just cut back on your calories (a guy your age should eat at least 2,500 calories a day to stay healthy, though)!.

Exercise alone can also do it!. Also, it's more fun than dieting, once you're used to it!. I'd recommend a combination of some aerobic activity you enjoy that involves the upper body (swimming, x-c ski machine--at this time of yr!.--, rowing or even martial arts)!. Running alone will burn calories but doesn't do much for the upper body!. Bicycling is great, too and actually DOES use the upper body to a degree, especially if you are biking off-road or carrying weight (such as touring)!.

Weightlifting is really the thing to do if you want to look good! Many people think you'll end up looking like a bodybuilder!. But that only happens if you life REALLY heavy weights!.

Try either a "Universal gym" using light weights, or something Nautilus!. Bench presses are good for your pectoral muscles (the ones at the top of your chest)!. If you do that, make sure to do back exercises to counteract it! Or your muscles will be toned in only one area!.

As for your abdomen, "crunches" are good, but I'd advocate getting one of those abdominal "loungers" that support your head and neck muscles!. Otherwise, you're using THOSE to sit up, rather than mostly the abdominal muscles!.

If you stretch (which you should) after each lifting session, your muscles will hurt less and look "flatter" rather than bulgy, which most girls don't like (contrary to all the stupid ads on TV!)!.

As for your weight, since one stone=14 lbs!., you weight around 210 lbs!., right!? Whether this is too much depends a lot on your build (skinny or big-boned!?) and height!. You say you're not muscled much, so calculate your Body Mass Index at one of the sites below and that should tell you how much
you need to lose!.

Remember, according to most reputable weight-loss coaches, losing any more than 2 1/2 lbs!. per week in the long term is NOT healthy and often leads to reaching a "plateau" (you stop losing weight) and later, gaining back what you lost!

Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

hi
in order to lods the fat you MUST do cardio 3-4 times per week!. perhaps 20-40 mins on a x-trainer or bike!.
to flatten the chest, go for light weights and hi number of reps!. dont go for heavy weights that could end up bulking you out more!. maybe something like 20-30 reps on a low weight!.
as for the stomach, whjat worked for me was cutting out salt and saturated fat!. after 2weeks, i lost 2inches on the gut! (even before exercise)

good luck, and DON'T give up!.!.!.!.!Www@Answer-Health@Com

In my professional opinion, i would suggest, you S-T-O-P going to the gym girlfriend!. It's time to sit that fine *** down and play some video games, go buy a 12 pack of pepsi, and get a bag of potato chips, eat them and you will feel GRRRREATWww@Answer-Health@Com

Lots of cv work jogging, cyclng, swimming etc!. The idea is to burn the fat off befor you look at building muscles!. 15 stone, as long as your not 4ft 5 it should be easy!. Check out the maximuscle website, they're a big help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

swimming is great because theres hardly any strain on your joints and plus, its relaxing, doing sit-ups also helps loadsWww@Answer-Health@Com
