Any nutrionists out there? The sugars in 100% juice are bad?!

Question:

Any nutrionists out there? The sugars in 100% juice are bad?

I don't understand and (frankly am a bit irritated)
and have been looking up articles but most are from soft drink companies...

I was planning on buying a juicer to make my kids fresh juice from fruits and veggies...seems logical and healthy right?

Well now I'm hearing the amount of natural sugar in juice
(even organic) is the same as cokes...Is this true?
They say something about the juicer killing anything good in the fruit....
I mean what the crap are we supposed to eat and drink if not fruits and veggies then?just water????

The whole point is my kids aren't into eating a variety like they need of fruits and veggies, hence the juicer.....

Answers:

Okay buy the juicer and make them juice. The sugar in the fruit juice is fructose. A natural sugar made by the plant. The sugar in a coke is high fructose corn syrup. A hybrid type of sugar that our bodies can not even break down. The juicer will provide you kids a chance to get quality fruit servings and probably enjoy them. Buying juice in the stores usually does not give you 100% juice and the ones that do cost a lot more than the generic fruit juice. If your kids ate the fruit whole they would still get the juice as they ate it. The only thing about a juicer is that very little juice comes from one piece of fruit so you may find yourself buying a lot of fruit. Good luck and enjoy.
