Preventing weight gain at camp/healthy non-refrigerated foods?!

Question:

Preventing weight gain at camp/healthy non-refrigerated foods?

Usually at home I eat lots of fresh fruit and veggies, an occasional whole grain pita bread, low-fat cheese etc to maintain a healthy weight. When I went to camp last year, I ate the white carbs & bad fats that they fed us and gained some weight.

I'd really really like to prevent that this year. Space is not a problem, but I won't have any means of refridgeration, what foods can I bring to camp that are healthy & don't need to be refrigerated?

Answers:

dried fruit
nuts
rice cakes
cereal
canned fruits
canned veggies (i think green beans are good not heated)
canned tuna
whole grain crackers like RyKrisps

if milk is available, you can mix it with protein shake powder for a snack or small meal.
if they serve salads, pack reduced fat dressing

if you are faced with having to eat their junky food, just remember to watch your portion size and not gorge yourself.
