So far I've lost 5 pounds and I've noticed some results but...?!

Question: So far I've lost 5 pounds and I've noticed some results but!.!.!.!?
I can't seem to eliminate (or get any reduction) in my handlebars!. I am 17, 5'11', 172 lbs!. In a month I've lost 5 pounds, gained some muscle (arms, legs, and core), and noticed some results (less pudge, thinner face, losing the double chin), but I cannot seem to eliminate the handlebars!. Is there anything I can do to help this process, or must I simply continue to workout as normal (eat healthier w/ cardio and light weight training)!.
Thanks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day!. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%!. To have more satisfaction out of ur food, Chew each morsel at least 32 times!. This will also activate ur body to generate signals of hunger/fullness!. Obey these signals!.

Nothing other than water in between!.

No special diet, call it by any name or program helps as one cannot adopt them on permanent basis!. Diet pills are chemicals and per se bad and shud be avoided unless the doc considers it necessary looking at ur condition!.

Take light exercises and brisk walks for 30 min!.regularly preferably on empty stomach and twice a day!.

U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time and hassle free!.

Be patient and not in a hurry!.

U cannot choose spots for reduction!.

This schedule can be adopted on permanent basis to lead a healthy life and maintain weight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ahh, I have the same problem, even though I'm exercising/eating healthier I still have stubborn fat in my midsection just above the jeans line!. Such a common girl problem!. :( If you find answer please let me know!. Good luck to you, keep working out and maybe if we are patient we will see more results!. :]Www@Answer-Health@Com

Uhh , i'm not sure !. and drink water , it doesn't make you bloat !. Even though diet soda is like 0 calories , you get bloated !. And just to make sure you don't get too muscle-y haha , do work-outs for 4 minuetes each , and switch !. like for 4 minutes do jumpropes , then next 4min!. do sit up , etc!.etc!. and listen to your ipod , since songs are only 4min!. it's perfect xDWww@Answer-Health@Com

Aren't you a guy though!?

That is a common problem for girls!. But I've seen it in guys too!. My boyfriend is that way!.!.!. it's just where your body stores the fat!. When he is a little slimmer, his handle-bars thin out as well!.!.!. it's just one of the last places to lose the fat!.

I think, from my own experience (I don't really have handle-bars but a similar pocket around my belly button), slowly losing your weight by eating healthy helps!. And to tone that area, do exercises that work the muscles regularly under the fat!. My boyfriend has trouble because he has bulky muscle under his fat!.!.!. I have a little more trim muscle I think, and this seems to develop by doing exercises in long, smooth movements, stretching the muscles out and not over-exerting the muscles!. You don't want to take a bunch of weights and do a bunch of short movements all at once, in other words!. Instead, frequently work the muscles just a little, with no, or little weight, and long movements!. Maybe bicycles, side crunches with an exercise ball, and such would help!. Also try pilates moves as the work your core and, when properly done, usually involve lean-muscle exercises!. Oh, and try the plank, as it works a different set of core muscles than most other exercises (get onto your forearms and toes almost like you are about to do a push-up except you're not on your hands, you're on your forearms, all you do is hold your body up off the floor, trying to keep it straight!. I find rotating my hips while i do this works my sides a bit and feels good, like I'm stretching!.)Www@Answer-Health@Com
