Please Help thats all i ask of you?

im 12 and im going away my doctor says im a little over weight my mom is 100% got my back and i need to loose a little bit....ok maybe a lot a bit in a few weeks any ideas. please no pills i wanna still be healthy


Answers:

You are still growing at your age so you should not restrict the healthy food you eat. You should concentrate more on not gaining weight, so that when you get taller, if you're the same weight, you will be thinner. You can reduce calories by eating more white meat chicken or turkey, or fish, than red meat (beef). Stay away from fried foods. You can cut some calories by drinking skim milk instead of whole milk. Stay away from chips, ice cream and candy, or just have a small amount as a treat. Eat a lot of fruits, vegetables (if you don't like them cooked, try them raw dipped in yogurt-my daughter loved that), salads, and yogurt if you like it. Be sure to believe your doctor's opinion about how much you weigh, your friends might have the opinion that you need to be skinny, and that's not healthy. Good luck, and please remember one thing---- keep your weight healthy now, and don't let it get out of control, or it will be much harder to lose it when you get older.
