what you need to do is limit your caloric and fat intake and with that exercise -
this is an example of a good day -
breakfast -
some sort of grain
fruit
milk product - skim/low fat/soy
example -
serving of cereal with milk
apple

lunch -
2 grains
3 ouces of protein
1 good fat
fruit
veg

example -
turkey sandwich on wheat bread with lettuce, tomato, etc!. with mustard
apple with 1 tbl peanut butter

snack -
fruit or milk product

dinner - same as lunch but maybe something more "dinnery"
like
grilled chicken/fish with side of steamed veggies
1/2 cup of brown rice

or -
grilled chicken sandwich with avocado
bowl of berries

then add in exercising

This is how your body works!. You have a Basal Metabolic Rate(BMR)!. A BMR is how many calories your body would burn in a 24hr period if you slept all day just to keep you alive!. Inorder to loose weight you need to eat less than your bmr!. If you want to stay the same you eat the exact amount of your bmr and if you need to gain weight you eat more!. The average bmr is 2000 calories a day!. It varies from person to person depending on their age, sex, height,and activity level!. YOu can safely cut five hundred of those calories through diet and excersize!. It takes 3500 calories to burn 1 pound of fat!. So, if you cut down to a 1500 calorie diet(or whatever 500 less than your BMR is) then you will have a calorie deficit of 500 a day!. Times that by 7 days and that is 3500 calories or one pound of fat burned!. You don't want to eat less than 1200 calories a day if you are a female and no less than 1800 if you are a male!. You can burn more calories by cutting 500 and working out 3-5 times a week!. It is NOT recommended to lose more than 2!.5 pounds a week!. Your diet is very important because you want to make sure you are getting more for your calories, and that you are getting the right foods with the right nutrients!. You need to incorporate these five foods into your diet every day!. Dark leafy greens, whole grains, 3 servings of low fat dairy, nuts and seeds(handfull or 1 oz) and green tea!. You also need to eat fruit and vegetables and lean meat and fish!. Don't eat processed food, fried food, fast food, white flour, or sweets!. Cut out cokes and sugary drinks!. Drink 8 cups of water a day with lemon in it!. Walk for an hour 3-7days a week!. Get 8 hrs a sleep a night( sleep dep has been associated with obesity and so has too much sleep to!.) You should lose 8-10 pounds a month on this diet!. I have lost 8 pounds in three weeks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hey, just to start you off ill show you this young lady's question and my answer!. she has built some sort of structured diet that should work great 4 her!.http://answers!.yahoo!.com/question/index!?!.!.!. believe she got it right!. But most of the time its hard and virtually impossible to starve yourself to that amount!. Although self-control is key in losing weight, you should opt out of having to start yourself and to stress out!. Basically, if you can't plan your day out like that woman lol, you should aim for more walkign and jogging and instread of sit-ups etc!. while these "cardio workouts" of walking help you'll still need to do a bit of those push-ups etc!. exercises to tone your body because walkign can only help so much!. in addition, the food planning in her day is only halfwayfeel free to up to 2 bowls of cereal in the moring ith healthy cereal!. corn flakes, rice crispies, even kix!. while i understand you might not be a big fan fo cereal its the most effectiveat giving you energy in the morning!. this woman has an ok lunch!. she could add salad!. 2 sandwiches that hacve a varitey of vegetables and a kimited amoutn of meat is even ok!. one of the jkey things also in her diet is water!. cut almost if not all of beverages and drinks besiodes water!. being overweight may cause digestion problems, water may help that!. besides that, it fills you up and has no calories and is perfectly refreshing lol!. for lunch how does breaking it into two parts sound!? you could get a short exercise break in between for some light walking and such activities!. since you plan to eaat different food everyday i cant predict at the moment what changes you need to make!. this is it for now, ill be more than glad to answer any questions and fill in the details for your schedule and help you plan, feel free to message me at tripleagangsta (AIM)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
