Question about exercise?

I spent 60%of Friday helping a friend tear up carpet in there home. Now the back of my legs are really sore. I am aware of every muscle, especially in my legs and arms. I love to exercise and feel like crap when I don't. I used my elliptical machine yesterday for 45 min instead of an hour. My legs are still very sore, and it hurts to bend. I look like an elderly person when I bend. Should I use my elliptical today or give myself a break? When I don't exercise I feel horrible, what should I do?

Give your legs a break. Or at least don't use the elliptical. Walk, stretch, stuff like that. Make sure your getting enough water and potasium. If you take any supplements for excersizing make sure you get some BCAA+glutamine. It will help the muscles recover quicker to take the soreness away. You can still excersise your upper body, just go easy on the legs for awhile.
