Question: Im 13 and im 250 pounds!?
what can i do to lose alot of weight i dont want to die im only 13 and i saw a vid on this lil girl who was 700 pounds and i dont want to be like that so plase how can i lose the poundsWww@Answer-Health@Com

Several things but you got to promise yourself you won't push yourself to extremes nor will you do any fad diets etc!.

1) try walking three/four times a day!. (morning, lunch, evening)
2) Your in Junior High, the benches that everyone sits on to watch the football games has steps walk up and down them first for several months when you are ready try running up and down them!. If you find yourself out of breath or your heart hurts stop immediately and go back to walking up and down them!. Don't worry you must first condition your body to love excerse it it hard - time has patiences!.
3) Do you own a bike!? Bike real slow on flat pavement!. Try to stay away from hills in the beginning!.
4) PBS has a morning show on warm up excercise for the body!.
5) buy five pound weights!. (for hands) every morning before you go to school!. Excercise!. Simple step!. Lay them at your feet!. Grab onto them and slowly pull them up and above your shoulders!.
6) when you advance in walking after several months you can put weights around your ankles!.
7) take a begining arobics class (a true teacher won't get mad if you don't do the dance steps correctly the first several times you try it out!.)
8) talk to your PE teacher on suggestion!. In order to be a PE teacher they had to take a class on health education and as you noticed they always look like something out of a teen magazine except the older version!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would just suggest joining the YMCA or some other type of exercise program!. It is easier to lose weight if you are accountable to something!. I would try to join a class that meets at least once a week!. If eating is your problem, become more aware or why you are eating!.!.!.!. only eat when you are truly hungry!. Often times one eats out of boredom!.!.!.!.I am very guilty of that!. If you start exercising to will start to feel better, which might help with the eating!. Just start slow and be consistent, If you put your mind to it you will be able to start losing weight!. Good luck!.

A very good diet for a growing person like yourself is the Atkins diet as it includes all animal protein such as meat, eggs and dairy products so you will still get plenty of animal protein that you need for growth!.

even if you eat little meals, you can still not lose weight if your eating unhealthy stuff!.
my weight training teacher always says 90% to getting a lean body is diet!.
she tells us to cut out soda's and junk food to like maybe 1 can every week or so and no more!.

eat lots of fruits and vegetables!. i know it tastes bad but you have to!.

also 2 more things!.
exercise dialy!. and one of the most important!. STICK TO YOUR DIET AND EXERCISE!. many people give up after a week or 2 becasue its too hard!. if you stick to it, you'll be glad you did!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

no mayo, no big helpings or seconds, all low fat foods,no carbs, that's bread and pasta, lots of water, that's h2o, no goodies, that's cake ,pie,any sweets!. no pork or beef, only chicken, and only baked or grilled no fried, or bake and shake!. plain !. You do need to lose weight (but I do too, so don't worry) I'm starting my weight loss in the summer!. It's so easier, because in the summer you eat less anyway because of the heat, and you're always doing more, so food is the last thing on your mind!. I'm getting a rowing machine soon too! i have tried this and it really works! eat little meals a day and try 2 keep it at mayb around!.!.!.!. 1200 calories a day!.!. only eat VERY VERY SMALL MEALS!!!!!!(VERY VERY VERY SMALL) hope it wrks out 4 ya hun ^^Www@Answer-Health@Com
