Flat tummy help!!!?!


Question: Flat tummy help!!!!?
im ok with my weight and eat a good varied diet and walk approx 3 miles a week,for some reason over the past 12 weeks my tummy has got quite big and its starting to hang over my jeans which looks horrible,is there any diet/excersise i can do to eliminate this (apart from sit ups)i know thats good for tummys but i just cant do them lol!.thanks all!.xWww@Answer-Health@Com

Sit ups will not stop you from having a fat stomach!.

Sit ups are a (bad) exercise aimed at tightening the abdominal muscles, although you're actually exercising the illiopsoas complex (basically a hip flexor - moves your leg)!. Even the bit that does exercise the abdominal muscles won't do anything about the fat!.

Muscular exercises tone, strengthen and improve the function of muscles!. Full sit ups not only target the wrong muscle, but if done with the feet anchored down can cause back straining, too!. Do crunches with your legs up, bent at 90 degrees at the hip and knee!. Also work the obliques (twisting exercises) and the lower back (back raise type exercises)!.

You can do all the abs exercises in the world and have great abs - but if there is fat over the top, you'll never see the muscle!.

Take World's Strongest Man types, for example!. Many of these competitors look fat - but they couldn't do what they do if they didn't have awesome muscles, right!? Awesome muscles, hidden by fat on top!.

To get rid of the fat, you need to raise your metabolic rate (that's where the crunches come in) and burn more energy (calories) than you consume!.

CARDIO and FOOD INTAKE!!!

It's quite simple, really:
Eat more than you use = store the extra as fat!.
Eat the same ammount as you use = same amount of fat!.
Eat less than you use = lose fat!.

You need to increase your exercise level and/or decrease your calorie intake!.

Don't go for fad diets - just gradually make changes to your diet that you can keep up permanently!. Avoid the sugary fatty stuff, eat more fresh fruit and veg!. It's not rocket science!.

Eat well but only when hungry and not more than thrice a day!. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%!. To have more satisfaction out of ur food, Chew each morsel at least 32 times!. This will also activate ur body to generate signals of hunger/fullness!. Obey these signals!. Do not go on fast or starvation diet!.

Nothing other than water in between!.

No special diet, call it by any name or program helps as one cannot adopt them on permanent basis!. Diet pills are chemicals and per se bad and shud be avoided unless the doc considers it necessary looking at ur condition!.

Take light exercises and brisk walks for 30 min!.regularly preferably on empty stomach and twice a day!.

U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time and hassle free!.

Be patient and not in a hurry!.

U cannot choose spots for reduction!.

Sit ups are definately the most effective way!! If you go to your nearest gym they should have a sit up assistant thing!. It makes it very easy to work with!!

I wouldnt recommend diets because i think as long as you eat everything in proportion you have nothing to worry about, HOWEVER, if you drink alcohol, steer clear of alcopopsWww@Answer-Health@Com

Your in luck! Abs exercises will not flatten your stomach!. I know that seems wrong but its the truth!. Doing some abs exercises will help by toning those muscles, but to get a flat stomach you need to bring down your body fat content!. A healthy diet and good all around workout will do the most to help!. I read a very good article about this just the other day!. here it is if you would like to read it!. you know "hip-hop abs" in home shopping network!? I usually see it there!. They have a really good dynamic dance moves that are actually exercise while having fun!. It sculpts your tummy to really good abs!. not really the big buff ones, but it helps flatten the tummy!. hope it helps!.:DWww@Answer-Health@Com

everyones tummy hangs over there jeans when they sit down!. i think sit ups are the only way to be honest!. if you can't do them have u tried starting with a few a day then gradually increasing the amount u do as your muscles get stonger and more toned!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
