Question for thin people?!


Question: Question for thin people!?
How do you do it!?!?!?!? Are you naturally that way and can eat whatever you want and not exercise, do you work out all the time and watch what you eat, do you have good genes and just need to work out a little!? Just curious what it's like lol!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I am pretty thin!.!. but I only eat around 1200 calories a day!.!. and run 12 miles a day!.!. everyone in my family is HUGE!.!. so I have to work REALLY hard!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Growing up, I was super-skinny, despite eating a ton!. I just had a very high metabolism!. I was incredibly gawky & bony, & got bullied a lot because of it!. But no matter how much I ate, I just stayed skinny!.

In my late teens, my metabolism finally slowed a bit & I filled out!. Still slender, but more normal looking!. Then at age 20, my metabolism had slowed enough & I had got slack about proper eating, so I found myself a bit thicker than I wanted!. That was when I realized I had to live healthy if I wanted to stay looking trim!. Such a rude awakening!

With balanced eating & exercise, I stayed thin until about age 25, when I gained about 30 lbs by not taking care of myself!. I lost the weight slowly & naturally, & it has stayed off for about 2 & 1/2 years now!. Now I maintain a slender figure!.!.!. I don't follow a strict diet or kill myself running marathons!. I just try to exercise regularly & eat decent food!.

Balance is key, & so is maintenance!. I can be lazy for a few weeks & eat crap, but then my jeans get tight!. So at that point, I have the choice to let myself go, or to nudge myself back into healthier habits that will help me maintain!. That's really the key: being aware, & making the choice!.

For me, it's not just about physique & fitting into cute jeans!. When I take care of my body, I feel better emotionally (exercise has been shown to be very helpful at combating depression, ADD, etc!.)!. I have more energy, & get sick less!. I take care of my body, & it takes care of me!. :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

i think for your avg thin person they naturally have good self control get lots of sleep and avoid tons of high fat food!. we eat fat but just not a glob of this a bottle of that!. ex i use may but very very lightly and i prefer mustard!.

i eat cake but smaller pieces and not the kind with tons of fake frosting!.


i do very light exercise maybe not even 3 min a day but it maintains a decent wieght!. i keep busy at home and do things that make me walk ie going to a park not sitting at a movie, drinking water or koolaid and not pop!.


i eat and my stomache is full but i have afriend who will eat a whole jar of big mayo in less than a week alone!. she will use monster cake making bowls for a salad and eat a whole head of lettuce which gives me and my family say about 10 medium salads!. she has all the high fat high cheese dressing whle we like vinagreetes or italian dressing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

what's worked for me:

--eat a lot of fruits and veggies (i didn't use to care for them, but you really acquire a taste for them after awhile)
--zero calorie drinks (water, coffee, diet soda, i refuse to "waste" calories on beverages, because personally they don't leave me satisfied the way food does)
--reduced fat or fat free varieties of anything (this you have to experiment with a little!. first, i don't go out of my way to do it, but if there's a fattening food that i enjoy, i like to try the fat-free version out!. if it's good too, then why take in those extra calories!? second, if the fat-free version truly sucks, don't eat it anyway! i don't ever eat food that i don't enjoy --it's a total waste!.)
--portions (SO important!. buy that 1/2-the-calories-of-regular ice cream all you want, but it's not gonna help if you're eating it four servings at a time!. also, i have a tendency to not measure exactly, and always round calories up, never down, to the nearest fifty or hundred!. it gives me a little wiggle room, should i need it!.)
--boxing food up or (gasp) throwing it away (i was raised in a home where it was considered "wasteful" not to clean your plate!. well, if there's more on my plate than i'm hungry for, it's either going to be wasted by throwing it in the garbage or it's going to be wasted by going into my full stomach and making me fat!. i choose to toss it out without guilt!.)
--i don't grocery shop when i'm hungry!. that way i can shop objectively and i'm not loading up the shopping cart with cookies and candy that i'm craving that moment!. if i can pass up the junk food at the supermarket, then it won't be readily available when the next craving strikes in the middle of the night!.
--i spend time preparing meals when i can!. the time i spend chopping veggies and peeling fruits, and smelling things cook really does feel like a part of the meal itself!. i find myself savoring my food more when i've put work into it and it leaves me feeling way more satisfied at the end!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

for me i eat whatever the hell i want!! most of its healthy but i snack on an absolute ton of junk between meals!.

i guess its in the genes - i do a lot of exercise but not to lose weight - just for fun and its not ezxtreme or anything just around 5 hrs a week!.

I eat loads and i manage to stay slim!. To be honest i think its my dads genes, he eats anything he wants and stays in good shape!. I walk a lot and do some occasional sit-ups but a part from that i don't do a lot lol!. It annoys the hell out of my friends!.!.

well im only 15 so im guessing my metabolism is still fast!. i actually used to be really fat in grade school and then i just kinda grew outta it!. i really pretty much just eat whatever i want whenever i want!. which i know is going to be a really big issue in a couple of years!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

for some its natural!.!.!.!.for me its not and its rly hard to stay "thin"!. i raley eat any more and exersice around 2 - 3 hrs a day!. im a swimmer/runner!. im so self contious and also think im fat!. im 15, 5'7 and weigh 120 - 125 pounds!. its a hard life rly~!Www@Answer-Health@Com

i'm naturally thin!. my metabolism rate must be very high!. i can eat as much carb or junk food as i want to and not exercise, and my weight stays more or less the same!. i don't have to watch my diet!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

for some people it is natural!.!.!.so natural that they can't put any weight on at all and they dont hav any curves!.!.!.!.!.they wish they were like the rest of us!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
