Exercise and drowsiness?!

Question:

Exercise and drowsiness?

My friend, on the phone, wants to know, if you are tired and you begin to exercise, will you burn more calories because your using more energy to stay awake AND exercise at the same time?

I think it will have the same effect as exercising when your not tired, but she disagrees. What do you think?

Answers:

Nope.... moving is moving. You don't burn more calories just because you're tired. You just make yourself more tired. Can you imagine if this were true... a whole generation of young women would stop sleeping.
