How do I lose belly fat?!

Question:

How do I lose belly fat?

I know the basic answers... eat well, run, sit-ups etc. I'm an collegiate athlete who trains pretty intensely using Olympic style lifts. I'm 5'11 about 255lbs fairly solid build. BUT I have these stubborn areas of fat which make me look kinda chubby. I have huge arms which aren't very defined (because of the fat), I have a tummy (the six pack doesn't show unless I flex HARD), and my legs are pretty solid (a little flabby in the quads but massive nonetheless). Overall, I'm build ok but I really don't know why I don't look GREAT because I workout, I run occasionally and I eat and supplement fairly well considering my size.
I'm an athlete so I don't care much about "bodybuilding" but someone as strong as I am should also look strong.. and it's kinda aggravating. Any suggestions?

"Texas Fester" had a good answer but not good for athletes. Any athlete out there should NOT cut off carbs from their diet. I know this one for a fact. If you do, you will pass out during your workouts. Thanks for the info though.

Answers:

well if you are doing heavy weight lifting ................they say you are developing muscle and muscle bulk.
I suppose -depending on your age and gender --other exercises might help.... eg go walking as much as you can.
2)I f you live on a College campus bike riding to and from the campus and lots of biking again may help reduce your stomach. It will take time....................so just walk as much as you can etc <! Good luck!!
