Question: Fad diets!.!.!.I've finally realized that there is NO shortcut in permanent weight loss!.!.!.HELP!?
Okay so I just wasted $40 on a thing that makes you lose weight, but now I have to PERMANENTLY deprive myself from hot dogs, pepperoni, and refined sugar! This thing has been working for me, but you have to do it for the rest of your life basically!. So now I'm ready to lose weight the safe way!. Can you PLEASE tell me how to lose 10 lbs in 10 weeks!? Just give me tips on how to eat right!.

Based on your height, i noticed that your weight isn't that far off from what it should be (about 115) so first of all, dont freak out!. I think the real trick to dieting is to not feel deprived!.
When I diet, i never totally ban myself from anything, I try to make rules which I feel wouldnt be to difficult to follow(based on my personal eating habts) and do my best to implement them!.

One thing thats generally helpful to avoid is late night eating!. Try not to snack much after dinner!. If you must, let it be something like fruit!.
Pay attention to portion size - avoid eating out of the container, you completly lose track of how much your eating!.

Try not to eat on the go!. take the time to sit down and eat properly!.

Prepare meals in advance so you arent stuck buying chips on the go for lunch

If you're experiencing an oral fixation (and you know you're not hungry), either try to distract yourself with something else, or try gum or drinking water!.

1!. Buy a low sodium and/or low carb diet book!. Use these recipies for breakfast, lunch, and dinner each day!. No exceptions!

2!. If you need to have a snack, just a fruit or a healthy granola bar!.

3!. Workout every day!. Go to the gym or take a run around the block!. Or you could just walk a mile or two!. Try going bike riding!. Be sure to play sports with friends and such!.

4!. Resist any junk food! Just stop buying those things!. Resist any temptation!. Keep your mind focused on anything else!.

5!. Check the nutrition facts!. Don't eat anything with high sodium or sugar!. Compare items to each other and determine which is better!.

6!. Do NOT skip meals! This only makes it harder and worse!.

It took me sometime to come to the same conclusion!.
Eat what you eat now, but eat less and move more, it really does work!
