Im thirteen!.!. and i really want to lose weight for summer, or just bathing at the prk,

how can i lose weight heathily!.!. im not interssted in pills, or fads!.

what activitys could i do to help!?

First, remember that at your age, your body is going thru alot of changes, and you have to work with that and also repsect your body for it's own uniqueness!.

There is a paperback book that I suggest you get and read!. Even if you don't like to read, you need to read this one!. It will benefit you the rest of your life!.

It's called "Fit For Life"!. And it tells you exactly what types of food you should eat together so that you get the maximum nutrients, but also getting the maximum break down and flushing thru your body!. The book also tells you why this is important!. and it is very important that you understand why eating properly is important for losing and maintaing your weight!.

Basically, in a nut shell, it will tell you these things:

1!. Cut out all carbonated drinks, sodas, and sugared drink juices!. Instead drink water with a slice of lemon and if you prefer it to be sweet us an artificial sweetner!. Kind of like a quick fix lemonade!. Crystal light also is acceptable!. You can get it in individual different flavored packs and you just put it in a bottle of water!.

2!. Eat meat and vegetables together!.

3!. Eat potatoes and begetables together!.

4!. Eat fruits alone!.

5!. Do not eat meat and potatoes together!.

What that means is you CANNOT eat meats and starches together!. The more meat and green vegetable you can eat while eliminating breads, pastas and starches the better the diet plan will work!.

This never leaves you hungry, you do not have to count calories or weight meal portions, and as long as you eat the right foods together, the weight will literally drop off!.

By reading this book and following it, I easily dropped 15 pounds a month, had a good energy level and my complexion was clear and my hair and nails grew like crazy!.

Most people will call this a high protein diet, but it is much more than that!. Understanding how long pastas and carbs stay in your system is essential!.

The longer the food stays in your intestinal tract the long your body has to get the fatty portions out of it, which you do not want!.

Also, you must somewhat increase you activity level!. I'm not saying you have to work out or exercise for and hour each day!. With this program merely adding a 1 mile walk each day is all the exercise you need!. But at your age, I'd try increasing your activity a little more in what ever activity you enjoy!.

This book is tried and true to its teachings and I'd suggest it to anyone who wants to lose some weight and keep it off!.

The best way to lose weight in a healthy manner is to control your diet!. Develop a nutritional program!.

Eat lean proteins(fish and fowl), lots of vegetables, limit starch(pasta, potatoes, corn, peas, beans) to mornings and eliminate sugars!. You want to keep some healthy fats(safflower oil, olive oil, avocado), they are essential to vitamin absorption and healthy skin!. The more vegetables you eat, the more weight you will lose!. You have to have the lean protein or you will lose muscle and damage your skin!.

As far as exercise, a good brisk 30 minute walk a day is all you need!. If you add resistance training every 3rd day you can add extra muscle that will burn fat 24/7 for you!.

I'm glad you want to do it the healthy way! ;o) At 13 you're still growing so don't overdo working out, but incorporate fun activities in your day that make you loose calories!. Working out too much may impair your growth (especially when doing too much weight training)!.

Don't diet but cut down on soda and fatty foods, that will help!.

Fun activities at this time of the year: Biking, swimming, running etc!. Do for about 20-60 minutes, enough that you get tired but you can still carry on a conversation!. At least 3X a week!.

If you can hire a trainer or go the gym, that's another option, but more expensive!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Cut back on SUGAR! (Don't darn desserts!!)
Eat slowly!. Enjoy every bite!. Here's the best advice you'll ever get: If you're eating with a fork, put the fork down between bites!. You'll find you eat half as much!.
Walking is the best exercise! The weather is perfect now!. Take a 30-minute (or longer) walk, without stopping once or twice a day!. YOU be the first one to say "hi" to people you pass!. It'll make you feel great!.
Learn to eat to live, not live to eat!. Eat when you're hungry, and quit when you're satisfied!. It takes 20 minutes to feel the fullness!.

First of all!.!.!. you are 13!. Dieting is not safe!. Moderation is key, and making health choices in your diet is important!.

ex: at school instead of buying potato chips at break, take fresh fruit from home!.

instead of starving yourself, eat healthy meals!.

Join a sports team or running club or something, now that it's spring and the weather is getting nice, take up walking every day, just getting outside and being active at your age, should help out a lot!.

Speak to your parents about your concerns, so they can take that into consideration when buying groceries and preparing meals!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well, I'm in the same position as you! Try eating smaller meal, but make sure those meals are high in vitamins!. Also, drink lots of water!. Get some friends, and have a Jumping Jack contest with them!! Or a sit-up contest, or a Race! For Teens, it's easyer!. Cause our Metabolisum can still go fast, if we have the right vitamins!. Easy, effective!.!.!.cut all sweets, ice cream, pastas, potatoes, rice ( carbs!.), bread and fast foods and fried stuff!. Eat lots of cereal, yogurt, green veggies, salad, drink milk (1%) and lots of water!. No sodas!. For exercise swim, walk or ride a bike!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Do Exercises like Jogging, Running, Sports etc for atleast 40 minutes a day for like 5 times a week because your body need to rest
And No junk food or fast food (you can give yourself a treat every once in a while)
