What are some reasonable ways to get a healthy digestive system?!


Question: What are some reasonable ways to get a healthy digestive system!?
Since, I was little I was lucky to have one bowel movement a week!. I notice things that have decreased in my body such as my lovely skin is going down my boobies are going down but my digestive tract is getting worse!. What can I do at 30 to turn it around!. FYI!. I eat one salad every day and consume aqua!. So, what else can I do!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think you should stop eating meat immidiatly because when you don't poop everyday, the meat rots inside you and that makes worms, which is something you really don't want!. I would suggest getting at least 25 grams of fibre into your diet, if it's really bad, I suggest you get a colonoscopy, and find out what's really happening!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try taking a fiber supplement!. Metamucil can be found almost everywhere!. If you want to get more organic, try Psyllium Husk Powder, found at health food stores!.

Read the directions, & make it part of your daily routine!.

Also, try giving your digestive tract some healthy probiotics, which restore the balance & keep your insides happy!. The easiest source is yogurt!. Find one with as many active cultures as you can (these are the long, crazy names you'll see on the ingredients label)!. If you have a Whole Foods or other healthy grocery near you, go there!.!.!. they sell REAL live yogurt!. Seven Stars & Cascade Fresh have 7 & 8 live cultures, respectively!. If you only have 'regular' groceries, Activa may be your best (or only) bet!. Most common yogurt has NO live cultures & won't do any good!.

Another good source of pro-biotic is kefir!. It's similar to yogurt, except that it's a beverage!. It's usually found next to the refrigerated soymilk or yogurt, but it may not be in all regular groceries!. I think it's sorta along the idea of those lil yogurt 'shots' I see, except it comes in a much bigger carton, has less artificial crap, & is much less expensive!.

Eat "Fiber One" bars! They come in flavors like oats & chocolate and they contain 35% of your daily fiber in one bar!. In fact, I just ate one!. =D "Activia" yogurt also works, but only if you eat it every day for a week or two!. Make sure you're getting enough fiber -- some cereals have a lot of it, as do some vegetables!. Keep drinking that water! Dehydration won't help!. Hope it works! =DWww@Answer-Health@Com

Apple cider vinegar! A shot glass full in an eight oz!. glass of water before meals helps you digest your foods also it kills bad bacteria and contains potassium!. as the other answerer said, Activia yogurt!. it can help, but was not strong enough for me!.

what i now take (for months now because its so great) is Align!. its a pill, probiotic supplement!. think Activia,but stronger!. its amazing and i dont have any problems anymore!. its $30 a month
