Well for me personally, I had two children and gained 80lbs for the first, Carmen Electra's Aerobic Strip tease dropped me to 10 lbs below pre pregnancy and gave me nice abs, the second one I gained 37 I did the same workout but also added a Salsa dance video that I alternated with Carmen's and I have a flatter stomach then before both kids (they are 1 and 3) so that is a secret that I stand by and recommend for everyone!. They only people I have seen it fail for was a lady with a hysterectomy and someone who had an abundance f extra skin in that area!. Not sure if DVDs count as equipment though!. The flutter kick is a nice move too if you want to use nothing at all, that's one we used in the army and it gave me an its bitsy waist and a nice stomachWww@Answer-Health@Com

Try some standing ab work like in the videos Hip Hop Abs or Turbo Jam!. These movements really work to target your core and abs and add good variety to boring crunches!. They also work more of your core and the upper and lower abs!.

Also, you can try some hanging leg lifts or pulls!. Hang from a pull up bar or door way and pull you knees to your chest or lift your legs straight out!.

I also like working with a fitness ball!. The large inflatable balls that you can lay on and do crunches and more lower body work with!. This can also be used standing and pick up over your head and lean from side to side!. Great workout with minimal equipment!. really targets the abs!

Hope that helps!
