Any suggestions on which supplements to use to build muscle?!


Question: Any suggestions on which supplements to use to build muscle!?
I'm a football player who's getting ready to play football in college!. I've never taken any supplements while I was in highschool for weight training or football workouts!. I'm 5'10 in height and weigh roughly around 240Lbs with a 13-15 bodyfat percentage!. My competition in college averages around 6'3 and 285!. Although I can't do anything with my height, I want to make up my size difference with my strength and speed, and in most cases at a higher level of the sport I know that certain supplements can help me achieve those goals!.

My question is though, which supplements,powders, etc in your opinion should I take for faster muscle gain!? Which are the best and what should I avoid!? My motive is not to be the incredible hulk, I just want to gain about 10-15 pounds of muscle and increase my weight maxes by 20-30 pounds!. Any answers or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!.

one easy way to gain in your squat is to do dead lifts!. dead lifts are more of a way to show strength than squat since it forces you to do a complete motion!.

the best supplements i have taken that have had an increase in mass and strength would be Nitrogen, Caffiene, Protein, and Creatine!. im a major fan of MRI products!. i have found that they truely work, for me that is!.
Nitrogen- MRI Black Powder stacked with NO2 Black
Caffiene (optional)- Any source be it coffee or what not!. (no pop)
Protein- MRI Pro-NOS, or the GNC brand
Creatine- MRI Anabolic Switch!.
nitrogen would be your pre work out along with the caffiene!. it helps dialate your arteries and have increased volume of nutrients to your muscles!. the caffiene helps in creatine absorbtion!.
protein rebuilds your muscles after your workout!.
creatine gives your muscles the needed energy to work past your threshold!. one big myth about creatine is all it gives you is water weight!. FALSE! it will for the first week, but then your muscles will start to increase in strength!. as long as you keep working out with the same intensity when you are done taking creatine you will NOT loose any muscle you have gained!. i do a 3 week cycle, on 3 weeks off for 3, after each cycle i gain weight!.

of course you could use any other brand of nitrogen etc!. but i have found that MRI has worked the best for me, i have about the same build as you, however i weigh 260 and benching 390 and deadlifting about 720!.
i hit a wall and i took many different brands before coming across mri and then really noticed the gains i have had while using their products!. it is pricey so be prepared to spend a little more than normal!.

* Multi-Vitamin- great, any source of multi vitamin gives the lifter more of the essential vitamins need such as amino acids
* Natural Test Booster- bogus, it just makes you really horny, i know from experience, plus could also be illegal in NCAA
* HMB- its not illegal, not sure what it does do, look at Bodybuilding!.com they will give you alot of info
* Growth Hormone- illegal, too many cons to this product!.
* NO (Nitric Oxide)- great (same as above)
* Anti-Estrogens- doesnt do much, alters your hormone levels, which is not good for you!.
* Protein Bars- easy source of on the go protein and carbs
* Amino Acids- great, aids in body's composition of protein
* Methoxy, Ecdy- increases bodies protein synthesis, its in Universal Animal M Stak

This is a very good question!. I would say that you should get a good whey protein supplement to take after your workout!. (I personally take Max Pro from Max Muscle and it's the best one I've ever used!. And I've used quite a few!.)
Also, my advice would be to stay away from creatine!. It gives you water-weight and makes your muscles bigger, but is ineffective when it comes to strength and the effects disappear as soon as you stop taking it!.
So just get a good protein supplement, and maybe some glutamine or nitric oxide(which increases circulation or something like that, never used it myself, but I've heard it's good!.)
