If you don't tell us what you are doing, how can we tell you what your doing wrong!?

That said, It's likely that you are continuing to eat carbs!. Try eating/drinking NO CARBS for 2 weeks!.

One little bite WILL hurt!. No vegetables, no Fruit!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Any diet plan says consult your physician!. The doc will tell you to excersize and eat right!.
Only diet that will cause a person to lose weight is starvation, that is not healthy!.
Look up the word diet!.

The diet of the Giant Panda consists mainly of bamboo!.

# (countable) A controlled regimen of food and drink, as to gain or lose weight or otherwise influence health!.

Atkins is one of the most unhealthy diets out there that you can go on, plus, do you want to spend the rest of your life having to avoid anything with carbs!? As that is the only way you would keep the weight off!!

It is much more effective, and safer, to stick to a low calorie, low fat diet, with carbs coming only from wholegrains, vegetables and fruit and lots of fish and lean meat for protein!.

We are meant to have a balanced diet, not be cutting out entire food groups!. The pyramid exists for a reason, you know!.

Exercise 5 times a week, for at least 45 minutes, have no more than 1500 calories a day, from healthy foods, evenly spread out, and you should lose weight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's not really what you eat-- it's being physical!. Exercise is the key to weight loss-- not so much what you eat (within reason) I mean obviously if you're scarfing down McDonald's and running for 30 minutes a day, you probably aren't going to loose much!.

I'd say up the exercise and see if you begin to loose weight!. I personally would go on a low fat diet (not necessarily low carb) you don't really need the extra fat!. I'd say not necessarily low carb-- because sometimes (depending on your body) you need the carbs!. If low fat doesn't work-- try a "well balanced" It's a good way of eating healthy anyway which is what you're going to have to do after the weight comes off!.
Random fact: The Dr!. who made the Adkins diet (yes, Dr!. Adkins) died of a heart attack!. (hum!.!.!.wonder why)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Thats because its a diet and diets do not work!. They are bad for your body!. Think of diets as the guy in high school who jerked you around!. You dont know wether your coming or going and neither does your body!. Lets put it this way, your body is going along perfectly fine and then you change its diet, it thinks "oh crap, we're not getting essential carbs to fuel us for the day sooo we're gunna store all these excess calories uhmmmm just incase", so then you go back to eating normal because hey lets face it another diet was unsuccessful!. Then your body goes "WOO HOO, the foods we normally get!.!.!. lets store store store incase we have to go back to another diet"!. Basically, your screwing your body around!.

So, dont be scared of carbs!. If you choose the right ones theyre actually a great way to help you shed some weight!. You just have to choose the right ones, eg!. brown foods only (that is, brown rice, brown bread etc)!.

Next, instead of starting yet another diet attempt a "healthy eating plan", that is having a little self respect, only put good foods into your body!. Have a balance between ALL the food groups and never deprive it of something it needs to keep you going (like carbs)!. You should now only be eating healthy!.!.!. that means more fruit and veg, lean red meats and plenty of chicken and fish!.

Its also really important to get at least 30mins of exercise everyday!. This can be however you want, and yes a walk counts!. If you play sport then thats great, if not then why not take one up!. You could also look into getting some fitness DVDs or joining a gym!.

Next, I think instead of aiming to lose weight you should aim to be healthy and "slim down"!. See the problem associated with weight is that it isnt an indication of how healthy or slender a person is!. ALOT of people find that when they exercise and eat right they actually GAIN weight, thats because your fat is being replaced by muscle and muscle actually weighs more than fat!. Think of it this way!.!.!. a professional athlete could weigh in at over 100kg, sure that makes them sound like a HUGE fatty but theyre probably really healthy!. Just like a supermodel can be tiny and really unhealthy because she doesnt eat right!.
Thats why I always encourage people to document two things when trying to lose weight:
1!. thier actual weight
2!. their measurements (but, waist, hips, upper arm, thigh, calf and ankle)
I say this because although your more likely to put on weight when you build lean muscle but youll find your measurements will decrease ultimately making you look slimmer!. (Confusing i know!)!.

Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Avoid the Atkins diet as it is not healthy as it can be high in saturated fats, my advice would be to go on a low fat, lowish carb, high protein diet with plenty of exercise, and be in no rush to loose the weight, do it slowly to stay healthyWww@Answer-Health@Com

calories are calories, no matter where they come from!. Some diets work better for one group of people, others - for other groups!. You need to pick what works for you!.
Also, you should try to become more active!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
