Question: What is the best way to gain muscle but keep fat off stomach for abs!?
It seems when i try to lose weight on my stomach my abs show up very good, but I seem to lose muscle in my arms and chest, because i do more cardio and eat less!. But then when I run less and hit the weights harder, the size of my arms and chest gets bigger but my six pack starts to fade, and i gain more weight!. Why can't I just have both!? I don't understand!. I feel liek i have to run so much to keep the six pack but that makes me lose muscle!. So what is the answer to this!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Because you're doing to much cardio, or just approaching cardio wrong!.

With cardio, it isn't more time = better results!. It's more intensity = better results!.

Run for less amount of time, but run hard!.

When you run long distances your body stops burning fat and starts burning muscle!. That's why your arms and chest get small!.

You need to do cardio and lift, but do the right kind of cardio!.

Interval runs work great!. Sprint for 1 min, jog 2 mins of recovery and repeat about 6 times!.

Or, instead of running 4 miles at a slow pace, try and run 2 miles as fast as you can or under 20 minutes or something!.

Try to keep your cardio workouts under 30 minutes, aim for 20-25 minutes, but make them intense!

Also, your diet plays a huge role in getting abs!. Drink a lot of water, and watch what you eat (no junk!. Increase your lean protein, veggies, fruits, whole grains)!.

A lot has to do with reloading your diet with the right fuel to build muscle at the right time!.

Nothing keeps the abs popping like cardio, but ease up just a bit about 10%!. Then only lift with your upper body 3 days per week and lift heavy!. After lifting eat lean chicken and fat free milk!. The protien from the chicken and the milk should help you build muscle!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You need to do both cardio exercises and muscle toning exercises in your fitness regime!. The cardio exercises (running, cycling etc!.) burn fat, while the muscle toning exercises (sit-ups, crunches etc!.) will build muscle!. Hope that helps :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Im not even joking man!. But seriously get a skipping rope and start skipping!. It develops abs really fast!. Do crunches as well and situps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
