Hiya, I'm actually going through the exact same thing so understand how hard it is to actually feel happy to gain weight even though it's the right thing to do!. And trust me, it IS the right thing to do!.
Every time you stand on the scales, tell yourself that the higher the number, the healthier you are and the longer you'll live!. Remind yourself how important it is for your health put on weight, not forgetting your family and friends and all those who need you to be around for them!. Going over your motivations for getting healthy, while assocaiting the weight gain with health should help you to change the attitude that a lower number is better!.
Good luck and keep it up, you can do it! XWww@Answer-Health@Com

According to David Burns, M!.D!. in his book, "Feeling Good, he reminds us that it is doing something that motivates us!. It is not true that you will be motivated by some inspirational message!.

My suggestion: Fake it till you make it and it works!. Tell yourself you are doing what you are supposed to do to gain weight and continue doing what it takes to achieve your goal of gaining weight!.

Nutritionists suggest adding foods like Ensure or Carnation breakfast to your diet a couple of times a day!. That seems to work for most people!.

I'm confident that you can continue doing what you are and gain weight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

As a guy, I like a toned woman; Fit, but not too muscular, (like female body builder types -yuck!)!.

You can drink a protein shake made up of the following:

1 part weight gain powder, (Chocolate!?) 1- 3 lb can!. (Suggest MLO or other brand w/2500 or more calories)

1 part egg protein powder!. 27-32 oz!. Can!.

1Jar chocolate malt Ovaltine!. Large sized jar!.

Mix well in an extra large bowl and divide up into the containers you had them in!. Mix the powder well with milk!.

This should yield an average of around 2500 - 3500 calories per serving!. work out and do Pilate's!. Then drink this as a shake for weight gain!.

I was body building and gained 18 lbs in 3 weeks as I worked out and built up muscle mass!.

Hope this helps!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hi Sarlax

A lot of our programming comes from the language we use when we talk to ourselves!.

So, whenever you hear yourself saying to yourself something that sounds negative, look for a way to rephrase what you just said in a more positive way!.

For example, instead of saying to yourself: "I'm a bit emaciated;" say, "I could do with putting on a bit of weight!."Www@Answer-Health@Com

Trust me, gaining more wight when your skinny is WAY better then to be overly skinny!. Being too skinny is very bad for your body!. So just think to yourself, 'At least this is better for my body!.' So just always say that to your self!. Hope I helped! :o)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Set yourself a target weight, and start thinking "I hope I'm getting nearer to my target"!.

If your weight increases, reward yourself with a nice tasty high-calorie snack!Www@Answer-Health@Com

You should try and find your perfect weight, what you are comfortable with!.
