Question: Dieting tips to lose 50lb in 3 months!?
Dieting Tips!?
I'm trying to lose a lot of weight this summer!. I'd like to lose about 50 pounds in 3 months!. I started a diet yesterday and I'm limiting myself to 1,500 calories a day and mostly eating fruits and veggies, and obviously staying away from fat and sugar!. I'm doing an eliptical stair exerciser for 20 minutes a day!.

My questions are:
-Is 50 lbs in 3 months realistic!?
-What are some good dieting tips!?
-Do I need to change anything in my strategy!?
-What can I do to curb night-time snacking habits!?

As much as I hate to say it, losing weight isn't a fast process; it takes determination and patience!. But I think that makes reaching your goal so much more satisfying! As for actual weight loss, 1-3 pounds a week is ideal, and any more is unhealthy and can throw your body into shock!. Instead of setting one huge goal, set little ones along the way and reward yourself when you reach them!. 50 pounds in 3 months is too much, but 30 pounds isn't unreasonable at all!. Set 3 goals: 8-10 pounds each month and reward yourself for your hard work!. Not with food, of course, but maybe a pedicure, new eyeshadow, or some new clothes for your new figure! There are going to be days when you want to give up but push past the craving and it WILL go away!.

One thing I would change about the way you're eating is adding some more lean protein into your diet!. Chicken, eggs, fish, lean beef, low fat mozzerella (string cheese!), canadian bacon, etc!. Protein keeps you full much longer and stabilizes your blood sugar for a long period of time so you dont get cravings!.

Night-time snacking is a tough one for me, too!. Do you see a pattern in what kind of taste you're wanting!? If you're craving something sweet, sugar free chocolate pudding really does the trick, or sugar free jello!. They both only have 60 calories, and no fat!. If you're looking for something salty, try a handful cashews, peanuts, or almonds!. They are very high in protein so it only takes a handful to make you satisfied!. Don't let the fat content in nuts scare you!. This fat won't make you fat (unless you eat entirely too much, like most foods) but it stabilizes your blood sugar and the protein keeps you full!.
Craving something creamy!? Try broccoli and melted fat free cheese! So delicious! Green Giant makes delicious broc n' cheese that you just pop in the microwave for 2 minutes and voila! A satisfying, single serving of creamy broc n' cheese!.!.!. with only 60 calories and no fat! They also have sweet corn and butter sauce, also 60 calories and no fat!.

REMEMBER: Don't give up! Push through it because it WILL be worth it in the end! You'll feel so comfortable with yourself and proud you did it!. Also, reward yourself for your goals!. You deserve it! :)

Good dieting tips are:
Put a mirror across of you when you eat (studies show this reminds you of your goals, and it can cut what you eat to 1/3)
Eat only when your stomach growls (even if this sounds unhealthy, it's not, also is lets you eat more than 3 times a day, eating less food)
Sniffing fruits (studies also show that in doing this, it tricks your brain to thinking that you are actually eating the fruit)

50 pounds in 3 months is CRAZY! 2 pounds a week at most!. i know you probably really want to lose that weight but it's unhealthy to lose that much weight at one time!. plus, you might get flabby in unwanted places because the fat is stored somewhere else and is "confused!." but keep up with the fruit and veggies and stay away from sugar!. also, work on cardio before ab excersises because if you ab excersise before the cardio, its building muscle over fat which makes you look bulky!. cardio helps you shed calories!.

Become a vegetarian, you'll lose weight easily and your heart will thank you!. Meat is the primary source of calories in a meal!. Let's say you cut it out completely for 3 months!. You'll lose weight quickly and have more wiggle room in your diet because you aren't eating meat!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You diet plan is good!. Just remember to add low fat dairy, lean meats and fish, green tea, and a handfull of nuts and seeds!. These are all musts in your daily diet!. Also drink lots of water!. No realistically you can lose 30 pounds in three months!. But to lose fify you need about 5-7 months!. You don't want to lose more than 2!.5 pounds a week because its unhealthy!. And you need to make sure that you are eating three meals a day with two snacks in between!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

first of all, why would u wanna lose all that weight! 2nd of all 50 lbs in 3 months!?! are u crazy!?! in three months with hard work you may lose like maybe!.!.!.!. 10 lbs or a little bit more!.!.!.!. but keep it goin girl! u can do it! just exercise and diet! well it depends if your overweight now!. if you are and can stick to your diet you might make 50 pounds although its a little high!.

for the night time snacks, try to keep yourself busty and stay away from the kitchen to make it less likely to eat and think about food!. also brush your teeth after dinner, it sends a message to your brain that your done eating!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

50 lbs in 3 months is really ambitious, but it can be done depending!. 20 minutes a day is not going to do it though!. That's a good start, but you are going to have to amp it up to an hour a day, or two 30 minute sessions one in the am and then at night!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Do some st reaches in the morning, walk for one hour in the afternoon and do some push ups before you go to sleep!.

I lost 45 pounds in 3 months so yes, it is very realistic!. The healthy way of losing weight is 2 pounds per week!. You basically need to give your body what it needs but never give it more than what it ACTUALLY needs!. Meaning to always read the labels of every food item you buy and you are going to have to find a meal that is good for you and easy for you to cook or make on a daily basis!. Losing weight is a lifestyle change and I mean that from experience!.

Your strategy is very flawed in that you will put your body in shock when you completely take away sugars and fattie foods!. What happens is that your body will eventually retaliate and you will eventually eat a lot more of those fattie foods than normal!. Instead, you should lower your intake of the sugars and fats that you used to consume and in time, try finding a replacement!. Do not do anything that will put your body in shock and later retaliate against you!. Losing weight takes time and you need to ADAPT to the changes that you put your body through otherwise, you will just gain all the fat that you lost and you might gain double what you've lost!. Again, I am speaking from experience!.

What works for me to eliminate night time snacking was to brush my teeth!. You will be surprised how brushing your teeth actually stops you from eating unnecessarily!. Also I started weight lifting at night so, when you exercise you will not feel like eating afterwards!. Exercise is a FANTASTIC way to limit your bad eating habits and boost your body to burn that fat!.

The best exercise that works tremendously for me is to weight lift every other morning on an empty stomach and then go for a walk/run afterwards where I live!. I have the dumbells at home which I have a lot of exercises for, and I basically take a walk/run on the sidewalk by my apartments!. You really don't need the gym to lose weight, trust me I've tried many things!.

50 pounds is realistic, but it will take a TON of willpower!. Just so you know, that is about 4 lbs a week, and because there are about 3500 calories in a pound of fat, you will need to cut out and exercise away 14,000 calories every week!.

So, you will definitely need to exercise more!.!.!.consuming 500 calories less every day will get you about one pound a week less!. That means you will have to burn 1500 calories a day through exercise, which would take at least 3 or 4 hours!.

If you think you may not be able to handle it, do not be to hard on yourself!.!.!.make your goal weight maybe 30 pounds less instead!.!.!.and keep in mind the more weight you lose the harder it is to continue losing weight!.

As for night-time snacking habits, just have something (knitting, a book, a cell phone, even a video game) to keep your hands busy!.!.!.and if you feel yourself drifting towards the kitchen, just tell yourself you do not really need to eat whatever it is you are reaching for!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

my doctor said i gained 50 lbs since 6th grade, when i was fcking HUGE in 6th grade!.
whatever!. she is like 5465434 pounds, so she doesnt have to go around telling ME i need to lose, when she is huge

yeah 50 lbs in 3 mnths is realistic to me
you should deff!. not eat after 8, and eat a small thing 2-3 hours
you need to ecercise for about 1 hr - 2 hrs a day (easy for me with cheer and softball and swimming) if you have a pool, swim laps, jump rope, run, etc!. maybe even walk
mostly the base for eating at night is when you are bored, so just keep yourself occupied, like read a book, or even just watch tv!. something to keep your mind off it!.
