1!. what is better for losing weight walking or running!?
2!. How many sit ups do i have to do to burn of all the calories I intake for an average calorie diet!?

1!. For now, walking!. It's the distance, not the exercise that burns the calories!. If you walk a mile or run a mile, you burn about 100 calories!. The speed doesn't change the caloric value!.

2!. Sit ups will not burn many calories!. They are not an aerobic exercise that will help you lose weight!. You need to do 20 minutes of constant movement, be it dancing, playing sports, WALKING (hint hint), running, biking, etc!.

3!. You want to aim at 1-2 lbs per week!. That's a healthy amount that will allow your body to make adjustments to keep the weight off!.

You can expect to lose 1-2 lbs a week!.

The best way to do this is:

1) Eat small frequent meals approximately 2 1/2 to 3 hours apart for about 6 meals a day!. Men should eat at least 1800 calories a day and women at least 1200!. Can eat more calories if you are more active!.

2) Drink plenty of water!. Recommendation is 8-8oz glasses a day but a gallon is preferred!.

3) Do full body weight training 2-3x a week where you are shooting for 3 sets of 8-10 reps with a weight that is heavy for you!. Focus on compound movements!.

4) Get some form of cardio exercise 4-6 days a week for 30-60 minutes per session!.

5) Track your progress and consumption!. By keeping track of everything you eat, drink, lift, or sweat you can easily make adjustments to your program if the results are not what you desire!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

1) Walking is a lower impact on your body, but doesn't burn calories as quickly!. Speed walking and slow jogging are good alternatives!.

Here's the simple answer

1!. Running is better!. Try interval running i!.e!. slow for a bit then fast for a bit!.

2!. Doing sit ups all day isn't going to burn much!. It'll make your abs stronger but wont give you a six pack!. unless you burn off the fat first!.

3!. 1-2 a week is optimistic!. If you're lifting weights to you might start to look skinnier but weigh the same!. Or actually gain weight because you're building muscle and an inch of muscle weighs more than an inch of fat!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

try power walking first, and then running!. I think you should start slowly!.!.!. try doing at least 20 sit-ups a day and when it starts feeling easier !.!.!. raise the amount of sit-ups!. 1200 calories if your a woman, and 1500 calories if your a man (but I'm not a Doctor, ask a Doc first)!. running burns calories faster, i started running and stopped drinking pop and fast food, ive lost 54 lbs since!. just be consious and make an effort to work out everyday!. dont concentrate on the lbs, concentrate on moving you body!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
