Can you get a lap band after you have had bypass surgery. I am gaining weight after 3 yrs.?
I had DS bypass 3 and 1/2 yrs ago, everything was going great and the last 6 months I have gained 30lbs. I seem to be able to eat almost as much as before the surgery. HELP
Answers:
The bypass was supposed to help you so long as you change your eating habits. It sound slike you were not able to make the change. Sure, you may still be able to physically handle the lap band, but even this procedure may not be successful if YOU don't make the lifestyle changes that are required. Talk with your doctor to see if it is a viable option for you.
