How do I stop eating everything?!


Question: How do I stop eating everything!?
I have this disorder, I just have to eat everything in my house!.
Especially when it's already on my plate(no matter if I'm full already) and the food in the fridge isn't safe either!.

I have grown up with the teachings that everything on my plate has to be eaten or I insult the cook+if I don't eat everything and fast then siblings will eat them for me and I'm left with scraps!. I do live alone now and it is a bit easier but it still happens!. I'm just so used to eating like that!.

How can I start controlling better when and what and how much I want to eat!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

This is more about conditioning than food!. You have a habit of eating everything in site!.

Do all other people do this!? No!. Why not!? Because they are conditioned differently!.

I agree with NLP as a possible solution and also hypnosis which is often successful in helping people quit smoking which is another form of conditioning!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Cook your self smaller portions, Will your fridge with healthy food, its its full of sweet / fatty foods you will want to pig out!.

Also some determination DONT EAT IT!.

Eat well but only when hungry and not more than thrice a day!. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%!. To have more satisfaction out of ur food, Chew each morsel at least 32 times!. This will also activate ur body to generate signals of hunger/fullness!. Obey these signals!. Do not go on fast or starvation diet!.

Nothing other than water in between!.

No special diet, call it by any name or program helps as one cannot adopt them on permanent basis!. Diet pills are chemicals and per se bad and shud be avoided unless the doc considers it necessary looking at ur condition!.

Take light exercises and brisk walks for 30 min!.regularly preferably on empty stomach and twice a day!.

U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time and hassle free!.

Be patient and not in a hurry!.

U cannot choose spots for reduction!.

okay, well i think you should do this!. the next time you go shopping for food, make a list!. plan exactly what you are going to eat every day!. only buy tjose items by taking exact money with you!. leave your credit cards debit cards all at home!. If you only have a certain amount of money, it means you can't by any more! I usually do this when I try to stop myself buying junk food and also clothes!. it works everytime because i only take the amount i need!. on occasion i do splurge but doing it once in a while is ok!. also your brain only registers you are full 1/2 hour after you have eaten!. by then you have overeaten!. once you have eaten your portion, watch a sitcom or do a crossword!. you would find the time goes fast and you feel full!.!.!. hope it helpsWww@Answer-Health@Com

You have whats called "Binge Eating Disorder"

While there's no sure way to prevent binge-eating disorder, there may be ways to help!. During routine well-child checks or medical appointments, pediatricians can ask children questions about their eating habits and satisfaction with their appearance!. Parents can also cultivate and reinforce a healthy body image in their children no matter what their size or shape!. Be certain not to tease or joke about a child's size, shape or appearance!.

In addition, if you notice a family member or friend with low self-esteem, severe dieting, frequent overeating, hoarding of food or dissatisfaction with appearance, consider talking to him or her about these issues!. Although you may not be able to prevent binge-eating disorder or another eating disorder from developing, you can talk about healthier behavior or treatment options!.
