Moms overweight....?!

Question: Moms overweight!.!.!.!.!?
My mom is overweight!. I'm kinda worried about her!. She's not like WAAYY obese or anything, she is like 5'6 and weighs about 220!. The weight is mostly in her midsection!.(which I know is a unhealthy place to have it) She has some problems!. Like she has an ankle that hurts her sometimes when she walks a lot and then she has lots of food allergys!. Like to things she didn't used to have before she gained all the weight!. She has lots of stomach problems too!. I've heard of so many people saying they lost a bunch of weight and then didn't have the problems that they had when they were overweight!. Anyways, all that to say: How can I get her to lose some weight!? She eats o!.k!. Like not junk food all the time, but she doesn't exercise hardly at all!. And she gets tired really easily!. How can I encourage her NICELY to start exercising!. I don't want to hurt her feelings, but she really does need to lose weight!. So, do you have any thoughts!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your mom will be just fine just tell her about this site and say it will just help her become more healthy!.

For a schedule and a diet and exercise plan, all you have to
do is go to:
http://coreperformance!.com/

and click on the one week free trial button
It is an INCREDIBLE site and it asks you what
your goal, is and you could say weight loss or
whatever your goal is
and it creates a schedule and meal plan especially
for your goal and height and age!.!.!.!.
And, you can put in how much you are willing to do
each day and for like 2 or 3 days a week and it'll
make the workout more intense or less depending on the
amount of time!. THe meal planning is also good because
it gives you a healthy diet and it helps you work towards
your goal!.it will give you all sorts of exercises that
could involve the equipment you have or you might not even
need them!. It has videos of everything it asks you to do!.!.!.so
you don't have to worry about doing it wrong!. I am a runner
and i use coreperformance!.com to help me build up my endurance
and it helps me a lot it gives me energy without fat!.!.!.and i
feel great!. So, try it!.!.!.what do you have to lose!? It's free
for the first week!.!.!.!.so just give it a try!.!.!.she'll love it!!!!

And, for encouragement, just tell her that you think she is healthy, but could be more, and that healthy and fit people live an average of at least 10 more years than none healthy people!. And, you would love to see her be happy too!. Endorphins from exercising makes people happy!. And, start her exercise routine graduallly!. i think that YOU could go to the site and learn the exercises and then teach them to her, so that it seems friendlier and then that way you can make sure she doesn't slack on the program!.

And, for her ankles, I know what she has, weak ankles!. (I have them too)What you could do is tell her to do these ankle exercises daily:
1)stand on one leg(can hold on to something for balance) for 20 seconds, then switch legs and then repeat this 2 times
2)then tell her to put both feet down and stand on her toes for 10 seconds and then repeat that once
*Do this every day and it will strengthen her ankles

Good Luck! (And i hope what i said helps!)

How about exercising together - starting with just walking!. Have a look at what she really eats and see how you can both work out a diet that would suit you both!. The worst thing about being on a diet is if you have to eat different foods from the rest of the family or if you have to exercise by yourself or with strangers - that is not always comfortable!. Do the diet with her she will love you more, just for that!.

As an overweight mother myself, I'd say suggesting to do things together is a start!.
Is she depressed!? i am and I know that's part of my problem!.

Give her a break and accept her as she is!. She probably feels bad enough as it is without you nagging her too!.

I know you mean well but being overweight is a personal issue and only she can change it!. Just love her!Www@Answer-Health@Com
