Question: How do I lose 6 lbs!? I have lost 20!.!.!.but am now at a stand still!.!?
I weighed 140lbs and got down to 120, but would like to reach 114 or 115!. How do I lose these last few lbs!? I'm very active, 5'6, and would like to lose the weight within the next 3 weeks!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

drink lots and lots of water 8 glasses each day!.
do not snack
do not eat 6 meals a day, try to only eat 3
if you are really hungry and you've had all your daily meals snack on fruits ( oranges, apples, bananas )
exercise more try and run for at least 30 minutes a day
get more active
get more sleep it prepares your body
stretch, yes it works and it doesn't just help you lose weight it helps with you're growing to make you a little taller
count your calories try to stay under the amount of 1300 calories per day
change you're lifestyle it makes a difference
do not eat candy or chips eat more greens or protein bars
avoid fast food and cut out fried food when you cook your meal oven cook your food do not fry it
chew gum because when you chew gum you do not pick at food for example if theres some chips in you're cupboard you go to them a think good damn they look good then you would say no i cant pick at them because i dont wanna throw my gum away
do not eat after 6pm because before 6pm you can burn all you're food off and if you eat after six it will lay on you're stomach as you eat!.
do not eat before you go to sleep
drink a glass of water before you go to sleep
eat spicy food, if you can because it speeds up you're metabolism
do not weigh you're self everyday because it torments you,weight you're self once a week ( every Monday )

For your height the recommended weight is no less than 117!. But, the best way to keep losing when you plateau is to change you routine!. Start switching your exercises with different ones!. Your body gets used to doing something, so after a while it's not as effective!. Congratulations for loosing the weight!.

This is normal do not worry about this 6 pounds!. Keep up the good work, increase the routine a little more and reduce the cal intake a by few cal!.

Congratulations for sticking with it, do not quit!. If you are feeling fine, and are energised after the routine then all is good!.

But there may be any of the many reasons, here are the few:
1!. Plateau is reached, do slightly different routine!.
2!. May be converting fat to mussels (internal, this are not visible)!. Check the Body Fat Index and keep a good written record of the Index, all the things, like weight and the Indexes!.
3!. Drink a gallon to 1 1/2 gallon of water per day!.
4!. Think of other thing like water retention (male or female but mostly a female problem(must increase water consumption to over come this,because body retens the water, because it thinks it is getting dehydrated) , ---,---, and add to the list and if track able track it!.

You must count calories and at least in initial stages write down what you are going to eat and when then stay on that list!. Your total calories for the week must not exceed, 1500 x 7 = 10,500 calories this will give you leave way to indulge at special occasions like wedding and parties, but you must write down what you eat and account for the calories latter and adjust the total intake next week!.

If you are not too old, then best way to reduce your weight is to increase your height!.

Vegetarians have a big advantage, in loosing weight, it cost less and they can satisfy the hunger more easily, some vegetables have only 1 calorie per pound, so they can fill themselves up with it before enjoying each meal, and never go hungry!.

Most people should take one a day water soluble multi-vitamins when on this program; they can be purchased at the pharmacy near you!.

Increasing the Height

In rare cases, you can increase the height up to age 30!.

Cycling is good exercise and fun too!.

You need to adjust the seat so that when you paddle from seating position you will actually stretch your legs, it is a difficult position but doable!. For safety you need to be on track and not in traffic, safety first!.

The FEW things I did at least helped me!.

Swimming!.

Not just playing in water, but serious laps type swimming, do not try to beat the clock but steady full strokes swimming!. Remember slow and steady wins the race!.

Stretching exercises on floor!.

Find them on line!.

Chin ups!.

Swinging from a rope!.

Full stretch climbing!.

In other words do things that require stretching!.

In the morning after good night sleep every one is about 1/2 inch to 1 inch taller!. This is because the soft tissue between the bones recovers during the time when there is no weight on them!.

Older people loose height due to bone loss!. I was 5', 7'' I am only 5', 5"!.

You know only the active genes but genes can stay dormant for generations!.

I believe that every one has some tall height genes, dormant or active; I again believe that certain exercises can activate those!.

Again Swimming:

You will start out with half a lap and build up day by day, half a lap at a time!. Then you will swim non stop for 1/2 an hour!.

The speed is not important but you must use various strokes and do them correctly, completely, slowly and perfectly!. This way you will have full stretch, and its benefit!.

Eating healthy foods and taking rest as specially sleeping soundly at night is very important!. Most people need 8 hours of good sound sleep per night, some need more and few get by with 4 hours only!.

In the mean time use high hills and take advantage of hair-do, wardrobe can do wonders too; vertical striped clothing can create a taller look for most people!.

Hormones:

Under strict supervision of a doctor they do wonders but the side effects are delayed and unpredictable so doctors do not like to use them!.

Surgical Procedures:

There are surgical procedures but most doctors will not do them till the person is 30 years or so!. They also have to be very short!.
