My friend is anerexic?!
Question: My friend is anerexic!?
and I'm worried about her, what can I say that won't be offensive to help her stop!? She's always feeling sick and I only see her eating a few chips or maybe a bite of food for lunch, no more!. She said she wants to be skinny and that she can't help it!. eating a lot recently has made her feel sick because she eats so little!. What can I do to helpWww@Answer-Health@Com

When you say that your friend is anorexic, do you mean that she has actually been diagnosed by a doctor!? If she has, then the chances are that she is getting the help she needs, you should encourage her to eat, but don't nag her, and don't be unrealistic!. You won't get her to eat a massive fry up, so just suggest that she eats an apple!. She probably finds it especially hard to eat infront of other people, so suggest that you will go off and eat lunch with her, just the two of you, so it is less pressurised!. Don't just tell her how thin she is because thats a compliment to her, so she will use it as motivation, just let her know you are worried, and that you preferred her figure when she had curves!. Make it clear that she can talk to you in confidence about anything and that you want to listen!. You say she has felt sick recently from eating alot!?>why has she been eating allot!? is it forced, or is she feeling sick from not eating!? you don't really explain, but just let her know that it will get better in time if she lets it, and just be there for her as a friend!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I think you should seek maybe some help for her!.!.!.maybe do some research first, so you know what to say/do for her
maybe have a talk with her first, and make it clear to her(like an epiphany) and tell her what she is doing can make her really sick, or even kill her!.
Talk to an adult to ask what you should do is another option!.

Try telling your friends parents!. They have to know first because they take care of your friend!. If her parents don't know anything about her anorexia there is a possibility she could even die!. You would do everyone even yourself a favor by quietly informing her parents!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
she prob won't like this!.!. but she needs serious help!. You should tell her parents and let a doctor know, because this is a life-threatening illness!.
