Answers:
If you have a constant craving!.!. a couple things: don't tell yourself you can't have any sugar anymore and take it slow cutting down!. Right now I'm really trying to keep myself in shape working out and with my diet!.!. but what I've found is when I say I 'can't' have something anymore!.!. I want it that much more ! So I told myself I'm going to try something different and cut out a few of my fav's!.!. ice cream, fries (never ate too much but I did notice that once I start eating them!.!. I want them even more)!.!. and chocolate for a month (a short term goal to try)! From day one though I haven't even missed any of them!.!. most likely because I allowed myself to keep one thing (the trick) ~ my regular soda!. Just one a day!.!. or not even a whole can a day (every few days)!.!. but it's there for me to have!. Also!.!. i've allowed for myself to eat anything I want (in moderation) on special days (bdays!.!. etc)!.
I think what may happen though is that when that special day does come!.!. you won't miss any of the things you cut out!. It happened already to me but when that day came!.!. I'd been feeling so good just knowing what I cut out (and for how long) vs what I didn't (because what you cut out really does add up) that I didn't feel the need to eat any of my old sugary foods!. I noticed that each day that passes!.!. I feel that much better inside!.!. and when foods I use to eat come up I don't feel that urge to eat it!. Not sure if that makes sense!.!. but I guess what I'm trying to say is that if you don't expect too much from yourself (all or nothing!.!. especially at the beginning of your diet)!.!. and allow yourself one small thing a day!.!. you'll feel better and in feeling better will most likely not eat the sugar you crave!. Eventually too!.!. you'll probably give up that 'one' thing you allowed yourself because you know in the back of your mind that if there's something you really need!.!. it's there (and if you want!.!. change it !)!. And don't feel guilty !!
ps!.!. one last thing!. I never liked sugar substitutes that are in all those diet sodas!.!. it's all chemicalized!. But there is one thing that's really sweet!.!. (an herb)!.!. called 'stevia' (you can buy it at health food stores)!. It's something that I've been using in making my own lemonade and it's great (3 dropperfuls in a whole pitcherful of lemonade is all it takes!.!. it's amazing) ! It's what my neighbor uses to sweeten things up for herself because she's diabetic!.!. so if you're looking for something!.!. that's something you might want to think about!.
I don't know if any of this helps!. I'm not an expert!.!. but when I saw your question!.!. I thought about myself and what i'm going through right now (and my own sugar cravings)!. So far it seems to be working!. I hope you find that one thing that works for you too!. Maybe it'll be this!.!. maybe something else!.!. but whatever the case!.!. I wish you good luck !Www@Answer-Health@Com

well allow yourself to eat it once or twice a week!. Preferibly once a week but take small steps if it too hard!. I know how hard it is, but it harder when you forbid yourself to eat that stuff!. Mental strength is however also a big help!. Or you can try food that has nutritive sweeteners in(like splenda and such)!. It is not the healthiest thing but can help on days when you really really want to eat something with sugar!. Or even better buy some gum, gum tend to take away my cravings for sugary food!. Best of luckWww@Answer-Health@Com
