Will I make much progress with this training program?!


Question: Will I make much progress with this training program!?
I do this on a tuesday, wednesday and thursday!. I am trying to build large muscle with explosive power for rugby!.
Bench press: 6 reps x 3 sets
Incline Bench: 6x3
Incline dumbell press: 6x3

upright row: 6x3
Shoulder press: 5x3
shrugs: 5x3

lateral pulldown Vgrip 5x3
" Wide grip 5x3
Low row 5x3

leg extension: 5x3
leg curl 10x3
Squat 6x3

Concentration curls 5x3
Tricep cable pulldowns 6x3

Answers:
You will definitely gain muscle mass!. Just keep in mind, the less reps or sets, MORE WEIGHT!. Other words you wouldn't be ripping your muscle fibers and in consequence, they would grow back stronger!. Even better you could work out every day with only half your work out, Upper body 1 day, lower body the next!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Depends!.!.!.!. Are you doing that whole workout every workout on the days mentioned!? If so, you may be hindering yourself by not allowing a day's rest between workouts!.

When weight or resistance training, you want to give your muscles at least 24-48 hours to recover from your workout!.

If those are the only days you can make it to the gym, try an alternating program!. Example: Tues!. and Thurs!. focus on upper body exercises and Wed!. focus on lower body exercises!. The next week just reverse that with lower body on Tues!. and Thurs!. and upper body on Wed!.

Also how you perform those exercises will determine if you are developing "explosive power" or just developing muscle endurance!.

You might also want to work on speed for running!.

Rugby ah the brutallity of it all! A high adreniline sport!. Explosive power is made with explosive training!. Train like a freak get that adrenogland pumping!. You want big mean power overhead dumbell and barbell presses standing!. Include the standing military press!. And I would say do the roman lateral dead lift!. (not bent over back extintion type) for you legs!. your work out would help you it just doesn't seem it would bring the EXPLOSIVEnessWww@Answer-Health@Com
