Running everyday and want to lose weight?

I weigh around 175 and I am down to 171. I don't look fat or overweight. I hold myself very well and it's mostly untoned muscle. I'm running everyday or working myself up to it. My friend has to prepare for her field hockey practices so I'm starting to run with her and every see if I can get up to her level. Does this should healthy to try? I'd rest on sunday or friday one of those days. Not to mention I work at a bus company doing labor work. I want to get down to 155 by the end of the summer. Does this sound possible?


Answers:

Totally possible. I dropped 30 lbs in about three months jogging. Your body will let you know when it is too much.....by hurting. If it hurts abnormally....stop. The difference being, a sharp pain instead of the steady burning brought on by exhaustion. Get some good shoes, the right gear, and enjoy yourself. When you get to the 5-6 mile ability you really begin to enjoy it.
