Is it true that the body creates fat after there is sugar in the blood system?!
Question:
Is it true that the body creates fat after there is sugar in the blood system?
I was told that whenever the amount of sugar in my blood reaches enough to sustain the current expenditure.....the body makes the rest of the nutrients into fat....is that true?
Answers:
When you consume refined sugar such as high fructose corn syrup, it causes your blood sugar to spike dramatically. Since it cannot produce enough insulin to deal with the sugar it converts it to fat. Soft drinks and "fat-free" dressings may not contain any fat, but the spikes in blood sugar will. Plus if you eat refined sugar often you can end up with insulin resistance and other blood-sugar problems, which can lead to a variety of health issues like stroke, heart problems, inflammation, etc...
