Well, if it were my child!.!.!.and I am a mother BTW!.!.!.I wouldn't harp on her!. It will only put more focus on the food!. If she's not gaining weight, not doing drugs, not throwing it all up, NOT pregnant!. Is she healthy!? Yes!? Then don't put yourself through all the stress of worrying about it!. It's OK, Mom!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It could be several things!. If your daughter skips meals, she may then become so hungry that she overeats!.

She may also be using food as a coping mechanism for handling stress, anxiety, etc!.

I know you're concerned, but your daughter is an adult and you can't force her to change her behavior!. If you can initiate a conversation in a natural, no-pressure way, do so and ask some open-ended questions (that can't be answered with simply "yes" or "no")!. Also, share some problem you're having and ask her opinion about how to handle it!. Sometimes this can initiate conversations that you can steer in the direction you want to go!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i'm guessing that she has a high rate of metabolism!. just like me, i eat and eat but i really don't get fat!.

2nd guess would be due to the nature of work which is an overnight job!. i also had a night shift job for a year and to tell you frankly, the stress levels and sleep deprivation kept me from gaining weight!. i guess that's where the hunger comes from!.

just my 2 cents!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had a college roomate who had bulimia who would eat EVERYTHING in our house in one sitting, whether it was hers or not!. I don't mean to scare you or say this is what she has, but it might be a good idea to contact a doctor or specialist to learn about other symptoms!. It's better to be safe then sorry that you ignored any signs she may have!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
