Workout, diet question????!

Question: Workout, diet question!?!?!?!?
I am 6'2,5 weighing 180lb with 5% body fat and I have just signed up to a gym!. My question is: can I eat a lot of everything except sweets in order to gain weight to build muscle but doing this will I lose my low body fat percentage!? Can I keep this body fat by just lifting heavy weights and running on the treadmill for 20 min!?!?!?

Thank youWww@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Yes - Diet to find your daily maintenance calories multiply your LBM (Lean Body Mass) by 14-16 then multiply by 1!.5 for total caloric intake!.

Consume 1 gram of protein in grams per pound,
15% of total caloric should be high quality fats,
the rest in carbohydrates!.

Divide this into 5-6 meals (to increase thermogenesis)!.
do your cardio early in morning before breakfast and weight training at night, hope this helps good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't know enough to contradict the first answerer's formulas, but keeping it simple!.!.!.!.

Focus your diet to be heavy on lean proteins (chicken, turkey, fish, and lean beef), vegetables, and focus your carbs (breads, grains, etc!.) to be eaten early in the day and/or close to your muscle building workouts!.

If your goal is to bulk up!.!.!.!. Focus more efforts on weights / resistance training (heavy weights, few reps!. and sets) than cardio!. But to keep the fat burning, do a little interval work 1-2 days a week!.

You might also look to see what body type you have (ectomorph, mesomorph, or endomorph) in order to see how to get the most out of your workouts!.

Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
