How do I put ON weight?!

How do I put ON weight?

I am skinny, and i work out with weights, and have an OK body but would like to be a bit beefier as i am skinny, but whatever i do i cant put on weight or bulk out.

any tips?

first of all, you need to eat to grow, and to correct the others here... long workouts with no intensity is the WORST thing you could do.. when you go to the gym, you work your butt off, then leave. stick to the free weight basics that will put the most mass on.. bench press, deadlifts rows, military press, squats, etc. 6-10 reps per set.. etc etc. if you are trying to gain weight, you need to eat more.. first, take in 1 g protein per pound body weight. if you weigh 150 lbs, eat 150 grams protein per day.. then bump up your carbs so you start to put on about 1 pound per week. this is how you bulk. if you start to feel like you are getting fat or soft looking, adjust your carb intake down a little bit. it really helps to log your food intake each day to see what you are doing and what works. alot of guys like to keep a workout log book, but nobody keeps a diet log..
