Answers:
Sister of_thedarkmoon has a point!. I also live on my own and most times I'm not only too lazy to cook something but I couldn't be bothered with the effort of eating!.

Take aways definately come in handy!.

Have you ever been so hungry but so tired that you just can't eat!? Ok this happens only sometimes!. I mean so tired like you've been out all day working hard or playing hard and when you finaly settle down to eat the tiredness just kicks in and you just wanna sleep!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I wish there were pills and you swallow one and feel like you just had a good meal of roast and veggie!
I cheat on myself by never buying bread (so can not make toast) and always having fresh food in the fridge!. I live alone too, come home from work, look in the fridge, nothing to grab and stuff myself, so I pull out tomatoes or eggs and once i touched it i just get instant idea what to do and just throw together simple meal or salad!. If i am very lazy, I wrap chicken breast in baking paper and pop it into oven and go read for half hour and take it out and eat it out of the paper!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Brown rice and whole wheat pasta are easy to do!. I just put the pasta or rice in the pot with the water and wait for it to boil!. With the rice, I add some canned beans!. With the pasta, tomato sauce!. With both, steamed veggies!. I also boil lentils and add some canned tomato sauce and spices with them!. I have a slice of all-natural whole wheat bread with Smart Balance and steamed veggies with that as well!.

Pre-made hummus and pitas with steamed veggies is good; All natural peanut butter with all natural jelly on all natural whole wehat (again, with steamed veggies)!.

There's a thing known as once a month cooking!. Do a search for it!. I think most of it is intended for families, but you could probably cut a recipe to fit you and either have the rest later in the week, or freeze it!.

I've also relied on all natural whole grain cereal (Cheerios, Honey Nut Cheerios or the store equivelant, Kashi, Life [which does have coloring, but I didn't know that until after I bought the ten boxes, I still have it once a week, though]) with soy milk!. Even oatmeal is good!. Whole wheat waffles!. Hodgston Mills makes whole grain pancake mix that used to be almost as cheap as the store brand and Jiffy and cheaper than Bisquick (which is not whole wheat)!. My husband uses purred fruit, either canned pumpkin or bananas, or both (the bananas, which work for an egg substitue for anything, give it a banana taste) or apple sauce (which works as both an oil and an egg substitute; great way to make things fat free as well as vegan)!.

Anyway!.!.!. There are also cookbooks for cooking for one and two!. (Most recipes can be easily made vegan) Do a search for that as well!.

Most recipes, I think, serve four or six so that might help in cooking once and eating twice or thrice!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

the other day!.!.!.!.!.!.not a scrap of food left in the house!.!.!.really hungry!.!.!.made the effort somehow to walk 200 yards to the supermarket!. Visions of steaming veggies and succulent chops!. However, true to character, walked blankly round the shelves, staring vacantly at the endless goodies!.!.!.and finally bought a huge bar of chocolate, and ate the whole damn thing on the 10 minute walk home!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes! I can't be asked to cook because i live alone, so i'm guilty of surviving on just a couple of slices of toast most days gulp! That's a bit bad really and your question has made me realise just how much i do it too!. Have a star!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
