Whats the best weight lifting supplement for gaining muscle mass?

I was looking at nox-cg. I really dont want to spend a fortune. I am looking for something that aids muscle recovery.

i say this alot, but i will say again.. before you buy supplements, make sure you are eating enough each day. without enough food, your body will not grow, no matter what supplements you take. that being said, i would start with a whey protein. i take whey 1st thing in the morning, before breakfast, and post work out.. the rest of my protein and carbs are from whole food. i have tried several creatine products with limited success, but others swear by it. i have also used a few different NO products, the one i seemed to like the most was no explode by bsn. its a pre workout drink that gives an energy boost. i find that my diet is the biggest influence on my recovery. if i do not eat enough, i am sore for a longer period than when i am on top of my diet.
