Question: Okay!. Now that New Years is over and people have disappeared from the gym (LOL)!?
This question is for people who are really serious about health and fitness - who view it as more than a "resolution"!.!.!.!.
What is/are your current fitness goal(s)!? What are doing (exercises, training routines) to reach it!? Are you finding success!? Have you recently found or tried an exercise that has worked wonders for you!?
Personally, my only main goal is to reduce my body fat percentage!. The new exercise I'm loving is a push-up variation where I do one push up!. At the top of the push-up, I turn my feet to the side (balancing on one arm) and lift a free weight to the ceiling with my free hand!. It works many areas at once!.
Just curious about your journey!. Keep up the great work and thanks for the answers!

Recently I've been exploring running as my main workout (no easy task as my history is in football/powerlifting)!. I started worrying about my heart health and took up running as my main cardio workout!. I ran my first 5K last weekend (and lived to tell the tale), and I've already started planning other races!. My goal is to be able to run the entire Dallas Turkey Trot (8 miles) with 30,000 other runners (and some of my family) this November!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

boss is funny, anyway!. I'm not dead serious but for the past 8 months I've been somewhat consistently working out,what!? curls, push ups, Hindu push ups, Hindu squats!. so on and so forth, wither way i want to hit 180 but can't do it, i hover at 160 and can't move!. w/e, my point is keep working people, keep in mind that a gym is not the only place you can work out, i got 2 dumbbells and i do all this crap at home!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have a weight loss goal of losing 40lbs by this summer!. I am not there yet, but I should be by the middle of June!. I walk for 30 minutes every morning and I'm usually tired after that, but if feels good knowing that I am doing something good for myself!. I actually hate exercising!. I have tons of workout videos to do at home, but I don't like doing any of them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My goal at the beginning of new years was to lose weight!. I didnt have a certain amount of weight and I didnt have a set time!. All I wanted to do was lose weight and continue losing weight until I was happy about myself!. I know have about 10 pounds to go before I hit the weight that I think will be perfect for me!. I did not join a gym, instead I have been doing ballroom dance,bowling, and yoga!. Along with that I am on the special K diet which i have been doing for about 2 and a half months!. With any luck by the end of the summer I will have hit the weight I want and be ready for next suimsuit season!. Once I hit my weight between this swimsuit season and next swimsuit season im going to be toning my body!. I had initially planned for this to be the year I quit being the "fat happy girl" and lose the weight I'm carrying!. However, on New Years Day we found out I'm pregnant with our 2nd child, so that goal's on hold until the baby's born!.

However, I will be getting in shape after she's born!. I'm quite a bit overweight now, and not only want to burn off that extra weight, but get toned and in shape!. My eating habits aren't so great, so I'm structuring a more precise, healthy eating plan to get my nutritional goals in line!. I'll also be combining a good cardio routine (most likely walk/jog/run as I intend one day to be in shape enough to compete in a marathon!.!.lofty goal now lol) along with strength training!. I have a set of hand weights to get me started, although I'm still looking for a good routine!.

I've been working out/lifting weights/running now for many years!. I've been really looking into different routines I can do because I've been getting bored lately!. The same old weight lifting routine gets tiresome!.

I have done that push-up variation and it's a good workout!. Pretty difficult!. Good core work too!.

Lately, I've been scrapping the weights and doing a Army style workout/strongman workout!. I'm looking for strength now!. Not necessarily getting ripped although that may come, but actual strength!. So, plenty of crazy push-ups, pull-ups, chin-ups, a lot of back and core work, and then plenty of leg work(squats, lunges, etc!.)!. If you've ever seen those strongman competitions, I've just done some stuff from there!. Like carrying really heavy weights up and down stairs(works the back and legs)!. Just crazy stuff!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
